Shoutout to our weekday morning crew! Showing up no matter the weather. Runners and walkers meet every Tuesday (Wiehle McDonald’s/Pupatella parking lot) and Thursday (Spectrum Center parking lot near La Madeleine) morning at 8am with an optional group breakfast afterwards!

Race Spotlight! Congratulations to Jack Tozier and Mike Witlin, who participated in the Mother’s Day 4 miler at Brown’s Chapel Park on May 10. Both earned age group awards! Their results are below:

Jack Tozier: 59:16:76 (3rd in age group)
Mike Witlin: 57:32:08 (2nd in age group)

We encourage runners to represent our club at local races! Great work Jack and Mike!

Join us for a fantastic slate of runs and walks this week!

This Saturday’s club run will take place on the Potomac River at Algonkian Regional Park (47001 Fairway Drive, Sterling). Meet the club at Picnic Shelter 1 at 8am for our 5mi course. Afterwards around 9am, stay for a Memorial Day breakfast potluck at Picnic Shelter 2! You’re encouraged to bring a dish to contribute but not required.

It’s that time of year when springtime weather blurs into summer. Thanks to everyone who joined us for a weekend run!

📢 Registration is OPEN for Summer Sprint in the Park on July 4, 2026! This is a family friendly 5k 1 mile Fun Run at Lake Fairfax Park.

- Courses are on grass, trails, and road (Strollers discouraged)
- Water, gatorade, and snacks will be available
- 5K male & female medals for first 3 and age group winners
- Raffle prizes TBD for both races
- Ribbons for all mile finishers
- Registration cost: $8 for the 5k and $5 for the 1mi Fun Run
