Last night’s South Lakes vs. Chantilly district tournament game was suspended due to lightning with the score tied at halftime.

The second half will resume today at 4:30 PM at Chantilly High School.

Tonight is Senior Night for South Lakes Boys Lacrosse.

Join us as we recognize and celebrate our seniors — Nate Zschunke, Logan Legler, Brody Mahon, and Aiden Hileman — for everything they have given to this program, their teammates, and the South Lakes community.

The Seahawks take on Centreville tonight at 7:15 PM at South Lakes High School.

Today we’re proud to celebrate senior **Logan Legler**.

Logan is a true multi-sport athlete, competing in football, wrestling, and lacrosse — and he has been part of the lacrosse community since he was very young. Over the years, he has grown into a skilled player, a respected teammate, and a leader both on and off the field.

Logan brings toughness, experience, and a team-first attitude to everything he does. He represents South Lakes with pride, and we are grateful for the example he sets for younger players in our program.

Congratulations, Logan, on your senior year. We can’t wait to see all that you accomplish next.

South Lakes heads to Arlington on Wednesday for a two-game night against Washington-Liberty, with JV at 5:45 PM and varsity at 7:15 PM.

For JV, the numbers clearly favor the Seahawks: 4-1-1 overall, 2-0 on the road, and a 46-33 advantage in goals scored versus goals allowed. South Lakes also holds a slight edge against common opponents and has been at its best late, averaging 4.0 goals in the fourth quarter.

For varsity, the records are close, but South Lakes has some strong indicators heading into the night. The Seahawks have scored more goals this season, 70 to 58, allowed fewer, 75 to 79, and carry a much stronger goal differential. They have also been the stronger finishing team, averaging 1.7 goals in the fourth quarter compared with 0.5 for Washington-Liberty.

JV arrives with the stronger résumé. Varsity arrives with the kind of numbers that suggest this matchup is there for the taking.
