We are located on over 6 beautiful acres in east Redding. Our tennis program features a 3 full-time professionals, 7 outdoor courts and 3 indoor courts...... the only indoor courts in the north state. Throughout the year we offer numerous tournaments, social events, leagues and clinics for all ages ranging from juniors to adults. If tennis is your interest, Sun Oaks is the place for you. ed 8-lane, 25-yard pool is open and heated year round, our recreation pool is designed for summer play, and our toddler pool will keep your kids cool all summer long. We're also a complete health and fitness facility with a certified fitness staff; complete weight and cardiovascular equipment; and over 100 group fitness classes per week. Our certified personal trainers and group fitness instructors will help you see results and meet your goals whether in one on one or group sessions. We are a "family" club, with free childcare, children's recreation room, kids' fitness and planned activities throughout the year. Sun Oaks motto is "Kids are members too," meaning children are very important to us. We strive to provide healthy and challenging activities for kids of all ages. Parent Tot classes starting at 6 months plus Levels 1–5 for ages 2 & up.

Kindness, technique, and fun are our motto. Flexible summer options with 2 week sessions or swim all summer long.

🤽 Water Polo
Fast paced, team focused, and so much fun. Perfect for kids who love sports and the water.

🛟 Junior Lifeguards
Build leadership, confidence, teamwork, and water safety skills.

🧜 Mermaid School
A magical way to build confidence and have fun in the water with friends.

We’re excited to officially open our indoor courts to the community and celebrate with a FREE Open Play Weekend for both members and non members!

Come grab a paddle, bring some friends, and experience the fun of indoor pickleball at Sun Oaks.

Gold medal weekend for Team Sun Oaks.

Three of our athletes — Katie Crum, Jimmy Pettyjohn, and Nick Stevenson — have been practicing weekly with Reagan at Sun Oaks and putting in the work both on and off the court. Katie also competes in our tennis league and attends weekly clinics, Jimmy participates in weekly clinics, and Nick continues to sharpen his game in our group tennis classes.

This past Saturday, they competed in the Special Olympics Northern California Regional Games in Folsom and all three brought home GOLD in their singles tennis events!

We could not be more proud of their dedication, growth, sportsmanship, and heart. Next stop: the Summer Games in San Jose this June. Congratulations Katie, Jimmy, and Nick!

Local schools bring their students to Sun Oaks, where our Swim School team teaches essential water safety and swim skills! Behind them are the thank you notes from the kids — a small glimpse into the impact these lessons make!

From learning what to do if they fall in, to building confidence and comfort in the water, these are life skills that matter, especially as we head into summer in Shasta County!
