10 Years of RipWing ✌️❤️💪
Today marks 10 years of RipWing CrossFit.
Ten years ago, Jake took a dream and turned it into something real. He brought CrossFit to Red Wing and started what would become RipWing. I will always be grateful that he took that leap and laid the foundation for everything that came after.
There have been two locations, two owners, countless members, thousands of workouts, PRs, celebrations, hard days, and a whole lot of sweat.
I became the second owner in 2020, and I don't think I fully understood then just how much this place would come to mean to me.
Owning a gym isn't always easy. There have been plenty of moments when I've questioned things, worried about the future, or wondered if I was crazy for taking this on. But then I walk through those doors and see the people who make RipWing what it is and I remember exactly why.
This place isn't just a gym.
It's the people who show up when they don't feel like it.
It's the person getting their first pull-up.
It's celebrating a PR like it's your own.
It's cheering someone through a workout when they're ready to quit.
It's friendships that started with a class and became so much more.
It's being there through each other's loves and losses.
It's the people who have been here for years and the people who walked through our doors for the very first time yesterday.
I am incredibly grateful for every single person who has been a part of RipWing over these 10 years. Whether you were here in the early days, were part of the journey for a season, or are still showing up every week, you helped make this place what it is.
It hasn't always been an easy road, but it has been one worth traveling.
So today, I'm celebrating 10 years of RipWing, the people who built it, the people who carried it forward, and most of all, the community that continues to make it something really special.
Happy 10th Anniversary, RipWing. ❤️
Here's to the next chapter.
