Jaiden Clarke’s journey this season has been nothing short of incredible.

Just a couple of years ago Jaiden stepped onto the mat for the first time. Since then, he has dedicated himself to becoming the best version of himself both as a wrestler and as a young man.

Over the past year, Jaiden made the decision to drop from 215 pounds to 190 pounds so he could compete in the 190 lb weight class. That kind of commitment takes discipline, sacrifice, and a tremendous amount of hard work. Day after day in the wrestling room, Jaiden pushed himself to the limit. He shows up, works hard, and attacks every challenge headfirst like a bull.

His attitude, determination, and relentless work ethic have made him one of the most improved wrestlers on our team this year.

All that work paid off when Jaiden placed 3rd at the New Hampshire Division III State Championships, earning a spot at the Meet of Champions (MOC).

Head Coach Steve Shea, Coach Jimmy Hughes, and I could not be more proud of the growth we’ve seen in Jaiden. Watching him transform as both an athlete and a young man has been truly special.

Jaiden represents what wrestling is all about — grit, heart, perseverance, and believing in yourself.

The work continues. 💪

Wrestling is a staple of life….
Not just a sport, but a way of looking at everything in a different way, a push through all the sweat, every black eye, every drop of blood, each labored breath by practice’s end, all effectively bandaged by potential victory at the end of each match.

Success is not final; failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.

We were honored to go and spend senior night with Prospect Mountain Wrestling.
We were able to go and enjoy a night of wrestling and hang out with the team and with the coaches afterwards and we even had some pizza with the team. Great leadership, great program, and looking forward to some friendly and fierce competition for years to come. Thank you again, Coach Derek and Coach Steve.

In case you missed it — last night’s Raymond High School wrestling match was a blast.
Intensity, grit, and nonstop action from the opening whistle to the final bout. Nights like these are a reminder of how special high school sports can be. 💪🤼‍♂️

One day, you will wrestle your last match.

No more weigh-ins. No more bus rides. No more walking into a practice room that smells like hard work and nerves. The singlet will get folded up, the headgear will be set down, and a chapter that shaped you will quietly close.

But what wrestling built inside you doesn’t retire.

The discipline to do hard things when you don’t feel like it. The ability to stay composed under pressure. The understanding that improvement comes from daily effort, not occasional motivation. The respect for preparation, the humility in defeat, the confidence earned through suffering — those tools travel with you into careers, relationships, and leadership.

Very few people ever get forged the way this sport forges you.

Wrestling ends.

Who it helped you become is just getting started.
