What a way to go out…these boys left it all on the field today in a really close game. We had plenty of highlights, some big hits, some great plays, some stellar pitching and catching…but my very favorite memory from this game was this quick infield huddle during a time out.

Great group of kids, great group of parents. We are going to miss cheering for these boys every day!

Second playoff game resulted in a loss, but it sure didn’t feel like one with this kid. Congrats Evan for earning game ball! We played a very tough Auburn team and he was the ONLY player to get a hit off their Ace pitcher, and it was a good one!

We get another shot tomorrow to stay in the post season, let’s go boys!

Playoff Round ONE resulted in a BIG WIN for this crew with SO much to celebrate!

We saw lights out pitching from Isaac, Garrett, and Zach tonight. Offensively these boys put on a show….Garrett had two big hits, Zach with a home run that hit the fence, Dylan hit a monster double which he stretched into a triple with heads up base running.

Defensively we celebrated a a rarely seen pick off play from Isaac to Garrett at third. But our game ball goes to Brody with a complete game behind the plate, saving us countless runs and putting on his finest defensive outing of the season and showing patience and discipline at the plate.

What an incredible way to wrap up our regular season last night! The entire sideline agrees that this group of boys is really something special for what they do both on the field and in the dugout. We ended in a tie against Nottingham with so many great plays. Stellar pitching efforts from Zach, Garrett, and Brody (who initiated an impressive triple play!)

Game ball goes to Braylen for being everywhere he needed to be. He played his positions beautifully securing a couple of clutch outs. Offensively he was on fire, starting off the game with an in the park home run and following up with a triple in his next at bat. He had a GAME! Congrats Braylen!

Next stop, playoffs!!!

Another great game for our boys tonight, we were down a few players and still put together an impressive win over Nottingham. Great pitching from Isaac, Dylan, and Shane…and some beautiful plays defensively. These boys had a lot of fun on the base paths tonight maxing out runs each inning. Game ball goes to Dimitri for a couple of great at bats and scoring two runs! He looked great out there today, congrats!!

Dancing his way to his second game ball of the season…

Congrats to Shane on a great game including a hit, great pitching, and for scoring a rarely seen, in the park home run, off a walk….

This team looked great as a whole for game 9. The bats were swinging getting 6 hits off of a tough Auburn team with their ace pitcher throwing heat. We made some great plays in the field too, including a gem of a catch by Dylan at second.

Keep it up boys!!!

Game 7 Recap:

Another big win for these boys tonight, great pitching from Brody, Shane, Garrett, and Dylan. Our bats were swinging and they had lots of fun on the base path.

Congrats to Garrett for earning the GAME BALL for an incredible pitching outing, striking out 2 and letting in zero runs! He had a big hit and scored a run tonight too!

GAME 6 RECAP:

Congrats to this crew on a big 16-4 win over Nottingham tonight. We may have been a little distracted watching the scoreboard at the upper field (congrats to our friends on Majors!!), but we still put together an incredible game. We swung when the ball was there logging NINE HITS and had some great pitching from Zach and Isaac.

Game ball goes to Zach for going 2 for 2 at the plate today, one of which was a monster hit for an in the park home run, this kid is batting 1000 on the season! On the mound he struck out 6 for two scoreless innings. Congrats Zach!

Game 5 recap:

These boys showed so much GRIT tonight as we played another tough Auburn team. Some great plays and some messy moments, but they had each others backs through it all. Teamwork is such an important skill and these boys are shining beyond their years!

GAME BALL goes to Dylan for his successful pitching debut and for getting back in the box after a scary HBP last game. We are so happy to see that smile!

GAME FOUR RECAP:

These boys BROUGHT IT today for an impressive win over Auburn. The bats were swinging, the runners were stealing, and these boys had so much fun!

Defensively we had some great outs, caught a runner stealing, and saw incredible pitching by both Shane and Brody today.

GAME BALL goes to Shane, who was a force on the mound striking out 5 batters over 2 innings and showed some discipline and speed on his way around the bases finding the perfect opportunity to steal home!

Nice work boys! Now rest up for two more games this week!!!
