Congratulations to our 2025 All-Stars! šŸŽ‰

As voted on by the team, here are the three players representing the Phillies at the GSBL all-star game being held tomorrow (Sunday, 9/7) at 6:00 pm at Memorial Field in Concord.

āļø Dylan Bissonnette (C) - .371 AVG // 1.094 OPS // 13 H // 13 RBI // 9 SB // 9 R // 6 2B // 1 HR, in 11 GP
šŸ‘‰4th all-star appearance in his 5th and final season with the Phillies. Leading the field from behind the dish, at the plate, and as team Captain for the past two seasons.

āļø Tim Carter (1B) - .469 AVG // 1.295 OPS // 15 H // 10 RBI // 1 SB // 6 R // 4 2B // 2 HR, in 9 GP
šŸ‘‰GSBL ROTY contender and highest team all-star-vote-getter. Tim immediately worked his way up the lineup after proving himself at the plate every single game. His lethal combination of strength and baseball ability make him a valuable asset on the Phillies. He is lockdown at first, but we know we can put him anywhere in the field.. he's just that good.

āļø Victor Jorge (P) - PITCHING - 5 GS // 2 W, 1 L // 1 CG // 29. 2 IP // 40 K // 3.34 ERA // 1.28 WHIP
HITTING - .250 AVG // .669 OPS // 4 H // 1 RBI // 1 SB // 4 R // 2 2B, in 6 GP
šŸ‘‰Dominant on the mound AND proved he can rake at the plate in 2025! Victor has been a Phillies staple for many years and proved this year that age is but a number. He maintains his speed and accuracy on the mound. A major highlight was capping off the season with a legendary performance versus the Northeast Huskies. In that game, he pitched a CG 7 INN, fanning 17, and was responsible for 3 of the 4 non-strikeouts. 🤯 Of course, earning the win in the process of achieving that monstrous stat line.

Good luck to all three of you at the game tomorrow! šŸ†

ManchVegas Drops Game 2 to NH Bucks, 7-5: Despite Out-Hitting Opponent

Another one that slipped away.

Despite out-hitting the NH Bucks 10-6, the ManchVegas Phillies came up short in Game 2 of Sunday’s doubleheader, falling 7-5.

Tom Ryan was locked in at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three singles to lead the offense. Tim Carter continued his hot streak as well, also racking up three hits on the day. Eli Perez chipped in with two hits of his own, helping fuel a lineup that kept grinding until the final out.

The Bucks capitalized early, pushing across two in the second and three more in the third behind a pair of RBI singles and some miscues on our side.

Chris Lamb got the start and battled through three innings, striking out five. Eli Perez came on in relief and gave us a shot, spinning four innings with five punchouts and holding the Bucks to just one earned run in his outing.

Offensively, the boys kept fighting, but every rally seemed to fall just one swing short.

Tough loss, but the effort was there. We out-hit them, we competed… but the game comes down to capitalizing in key spots. On to the next week.

ManchVegas Rally Falls Just Short in 6-5 Loss to Grizzlies

Tough one on Sunday.

Despite a gutsy late-inning push, the ManchVegas Phillies came up just short against the Granite State Grizzlies, falling 6-5 in a wild finish.

After trading runs early with Tim driving in the game-tying run in the 7th, things unraveled in the top of the 8th. The Grizzlies plated five runs without recording a hit, capitalizing on walks and some defensive miscues that opened the door.

But, as always, this squad didn’t quit.

The boys fought back with a hit-by-pitch RBI, an RBI double, and a sac fly to claw within one. With the tying run 90 feet away, the Grizzlies managed to escape and hang on for the win.

Victor was nails on the mound once again, giving us 7.1 strong innings, allowing just two hits while striking out eight. Offensively, Tim continued to lead the charge with a 3-for-5 day and three RBIs. Eli and Dylan both picked up multiple hits to help fuel the comeback.

Frustrating way to drop this one, especially knowing it was there for the taking. But we’ll take the fight, learn from it, and get back to work.

On to the next.

Philly of the Week: Cam Beauchesne ( #41)

No complaints. No hesitation. Just a guy who steps up every time he’s called, and always puts the team first.

From handling every GameChanger update, to warming up pitchers between innings, to filling in wherever we need him Cam’s that steady presence who keeps things running behind the scenes. And most people don’t even realize how much he does.

This week, he also picked up his first career hit and drew a walk, a well-earned moment for someone who’s been giving everything all year long. Cam’s the definition of team-first, and we’re lucky to have him in our dugout.

This weeks spolight is yours #41

GAME 2: ManchVegas Phillies Drop Second Game to Cardinals 21s, 6-1

The struggles continued in Game 2 for ManchVegas, as the Cardinals 21s used a big third inning to roll to a 6-1 win and sweep the doubleheader.

Cardinals broke the game open in the third with a five-run outburst, highlighted by a three-run double from Siul Mejia and RBI singles from Jake Laroche and Jordan McCluskey. Meredius Pendell added a solo homer in the fifth to pad the lead.

Despite the loss, Tyler Thorgerson turned in a strong effort for the Phillies. The righty tossed six innings, striking out eight and walking none while allowing just one earned run on 10 hits. Errors and missed opportunities, however, proved costly.

Tim Carter continued his hot bat with a 2-for-4 performance to lead ManchVegas at the plate. The Phillies tallied six hits but couldn’t string them together, leaving runners stranded throughout. On the bright side, the defense turned two double plays to help limit further damage.

With the doubleheader loss, ManchVegas will look to regroup and bounce back in the next outing.

GAME 1: ManchVegas Phillies Fall Flat Against Nashua Rockies in 10-2 Loss

The ManchVegas Phillies were overmatched in Game 1 of Sunday’s doubleheader, dropping a 10-2 decision to the Nashua Rockies.

Nashua opened the scoring in the third inning with a pair of RBI singles, including a two-run knock by Roy Sanchez to set the tone. The Rockies controlled the tempo from there, capitalizing on Phillies miscues and aggressive baserunning to pull away.

Victor Jorge took the ball for ManchVegas and struck out five over 3.1 innings, but allowed three earned runs on four hits and three walks. Offensively, the Phillies couldn’t generate much momentum, managing just two hits on the day. Dylan Bissonnette delivered the lone RBI with a single, while Joel Santana and Keith Hanson each drew two walks as part of the team’s eight free passes.

The Rockies’ offense was led by outfielder Ryan Slate, who drove in three runs despite just one hit. Sanchez and Dakota Williams added multi-hit efforts, while Nashua wreaked havoc on the bases with five stolen bags and turned three double plays defensively to shut down any Philly momentum.
