Last month was our annual Trail Ride & Drive from Silloway Maple! This event was free to members this year as a thank you for all of your ongoing support. It was a beautiful day, and the trails and quiet dirt roads were a treat to venture out on together. Creamees afterward made the day even sweeter!

Did you know that if you are a Mid-State member, you are welcome to use the grounds to ride or drive whenever you’d like? And some fun news, right now there is a driven dressage ring and cones course set up for carriage drivers. They’ll be up until Thursday, so enjoy!

Drill Team is a wrap for the year, and it was SO MUCH FUN! We learned a lot, our horses learned a lot, and it was really special just to ride together as friends. We’re so fortunate to have beautiful grounds to enjoy together, and we’re already looking forward to next year!

Our monthly meeting tonight will be held at Silloway Maple, as will our meetings going forward. Meetings are on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. We we'll meet in September and October, with no regular meetings in November or December. Instead, we’ll have our holiday and wreath making party. Stay tuned for the date!

A huge thank you to Francois Bergeron and all of the participants and volunteers who made this past weekend's clinic so special! We were incredibly fortunate to have Francois back at Mid-State, and the amount of learning that took place throughout the weekend was really something, despite the rain on Sunday!

We have one last driving event scheduled for 2026, a Continuous Drive on Sunday, October 11. This is a really fun event to wrap up the season, and lunch is provided. Register today, and please reach out with any questions. We hope to see you there!
