A big thank you to everyone who organized, volunteered, and participated in this year’s Versatility Challenge. The horsemanship, sportsmanship, and kindness shown by everyone and every horse involved was truly impressive! One of the most wonderful things to see was horses leaving the ring more relaxed and confident than when they entered. It was a great reflection of their handler’s patience, expertise, and dedication to building partnership. We hope you enjoy a few photos and videos.
Looking ahead, we have lots more fun coming up. Drill Team is tomorrow, August 4th at 5:00 PM and will continue weekly. Reach out if you would like to be added to the Drill Team email list for updates and weather considerations. Andrea Morgan is teaching lessons at Mid-State on August 13th and lessons will continue biweekly. A dressage clinic with Anne Palmer will take place on Friday, August 14th, a clinic with Hannah Polson on August 15th and 16th, the Silloway Maple Trail Ride/Drive on September 6th, Francois Bergeron’s driving clinic on September 19th and 20th, and our Continuous Drive on October 11th. Our next club meeting will be August 25th.
