TRC had the honor of hosting Raleigh Mayor, Janet Cowell, on Tuesday at Lake Wheeler! She got to witness our team at practice: carrying boats and oars, working together to get coach launches in the water, and taking turns to launch from the beach. We also found out that she’s a natural rower when she took her turn as stroke seat of a men’s eight! Many thanks to her for taking the time to see our team and this amazing sport right here in Raleigh!

Successful weekend of racing in High Point ✅

Lots of hard-work on display from the team this weekend while attending our first whole team regatta of the season! Looking forward to more racing ahead as we travel to Chattanooga in a little over a week.

The team sent five crews down the Charles last weekend. It’s always a privilege to race in Boston, and we are proud to have had 22 athletes get the opportunity this year! More racing to come this fall as we head into quite a few busy weekends. The boat trailer is already loaded up and TRC is ready to race at the High Point Autumn Rowing festival tomorrow! Go TRC!

Friends and family! It’s time for the rowers to take a little break and let YOU try to move the boats! Join us next Saturday (Oct 10th) for our annual event where you get to show your athletes how easy rowing is. Donations and signup linked in story. Hoping to see many of you there!
