With a heavy heart we share this post. In early March we were saddened to be informed of the passing of Mrs. Susan Bennett Fairlee. She was a devoted mother, a supportive wife, and a friend to many. As an alum to the NC State Rowing Club we hold a special place in our heart for Susan.

Susan was an accomplished rower at NC State and was known as the “machine” powering the boat with her impressive strength and incredible focus. Susan’s legacy is one of love, strength, and unwavering kindness to all.
