Proud doesn’t even begin to describe it.

This past Saturday, our Barbelt Karate team competed at the West Virginia State Championships—and showed what consistent work looks like when it shows up on the mat.

Our team of 6 athletes brought home:

🥇 4 Gold Medals
🥈 4 Silver Medals
🥉 1 Bronze Medal

There’s more work to do, more growth ahead, and more to build—but moments like this matter.

We’re proud of the effort, the discipline, and the way this team represented Barbelt.

What an incredible day for Team Barbelt at the 2026 NC AAU Karate State Championship.

Our athletes stepped onto the mats with discipline, focus, and heart, competing in Kata, Kumite, and Kobudo. The hard work showed in the results:

🥇 15 Gold
🥈 11 Silver
🥉 6 Bronze

But beyond the medals, what makes us proud is the courage to compete, the respect shown to opponents, and the dedication to improving every day.

This is what Team Barbelt represents—discipline, growth, and the pursuit of excellence.
