We got new O2!

Did you know we service and fill oxygen cylinders here at Carolina Dive Center? Along with air and nitrox fills, we can also fill your oxygen. Whether you need an emergency cylinder on the boat or a safe decompression gas, our certified gas blenders can help!

Some key differences from nitrox and oxygen:
• Having 100% oxygen onsite allows us to fill for specific mixes above 40% nitrox
• Oxygen can only be put into an oxygen serviced cylinder which means the cylinder has been cleaned by strict standards so the air is safe to breathe
• You can learn how to administer emergency oxygen through the PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider course (there are still spots available in our September 6th class!)
• You can breathe oxygen mixes above 40% with the PADI Tec 40 certification

Oxygen in scuba diving can be lifesaving, but without proper training and knowledge, it can be harmful.

Please join Carolina Dive Center in congratulating our newest PADI Rescue Divers! This incredible team worked hard across two intense days of training, mastering all required skills, all while combating the heat and rain. The team overcame all of this to earn the right to be called Rescue Divers.
