She may have finished 13th at the 2025 Queen of the Slate, but don’t let that fool you… Jozy is back and looking to make a much deeper run in 2026! 👑🎱

Most players know Jozy for what she does on the table, but behind the scenes she’s one of the hardest-working members of the Queen of the Slate team as well as Battle in the Basement and the Maine State Open 9 Ball

📸 She’s the creative force behind the player announcement graphics that have become a staple of the event.

🏆 As Assistant Tournament Director, she’s helping keep the biggest ladies event in New England running smoothly from start to finish.

🎯 And when players get knocked out of the main event, Jozy takes over and runs the always-popular 2nd Chance Tournaments, giving competitors another shot at bringing home some cash.

Whether she’s organizing, creating, directing, or competing, Jozy is an important part of what makes Queen of the Slate special, as well as our other events.
