We encourage both beginners and advanced students looking for a yoga home. At yogaRIOT, we TEACH yoga and get to know our students by providing personalized instruction. Going to the gym has absolutely changed the way I practice yoga. From about 2022-summer of 2024, I only practiced yoga as my movement.  .yoga was the first person to bring to my attention how important it was to include the gym in my movement and then spending time and working with is really when things started to change for me.

The gym has become a fun way to do the hard work that translates directly both on and off the mat. I love building strength, mobility, stability, and resilience in the gym, and I love seeing how that work shows up in my yoga practice.

The stronger and more mobile I become, the more freedom I feel in my movement. More importantly, I feel better in my body as I move through everyday life/as I am getting older. 🙂
