Apollo Archery Archery for veterans/military, hosted by the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Chapter of the Izaak Walton League Families welcomed and encouraged to participate.

Archery instruction and experiences for current and former members of the United States Armed Services and their families. Who: Any current or former member of the US Armed Services (active, reserve, Guard, retired, veteran). What:
- Instruction provided for novice participants.
- Adaptive archery for wounded warriors, disabled veterans, and family members.
- Field range with 20 yard, 30 yard, 40

yard, and 50 yard target bags.
- Two 3D courses through our Archery Woods. Equipment:
- All equipment (bows, arrows, and targets) provided for novice participants.
- Experienced archers are invited to bring personal equipment. When: First Wednesday of each month, May – October, 6:00pm to dark.

2022 dates: April 6; May 4; June 1; July 6; August 3; September 7

Please come join us at the range this Wednesday @ 6pm!

We’ll have ASA certified instructors on hand to help anyone wanting assistance. We can also help seasoned shooters chrono or paper tune their equipment and have a bow press onsite for other adjustments if needed.

We also have loaner equipment for shooters of all sizes, ages, and abilities (including a crossbow and adaptive equipment).

Family’s are welcome and non-shooters can simply enjoy our beautiful grounds and picturesque sunsets.

Come ready to enjoy our upgraded targets. We’ll have ASA certified instructors on hand to work with anyone looking for assistance. Family’s are welcome and no prior experience needed. We can also help seasoned shooters chrono their equipment or paper tune.

Cookout and fireworks season is upon us. Start the holiday weekend off early with an evening of target practice in the heart of Montgomery County’s picturesque Agricultural Reserve.

This Wednesday, July 2nd from 6:00PM until dusk.

Weather is looking great for tomorrow; our session begins at 6PM. In honor of the spring turkey hunting season, we’ll be rolling out the 3D gobbler targets. Our USA Archery certified instructors will be on hand to help folks starting from scratch or those just looking to refine some skills. We’ve got new some new bows to borrow but are happy to help you get set up with whatever you bring as well.
