Potomac Valley Country Club

Potomac Valley Country Club The Potomac Valley Country Club opened in 1960. Urban legend has it that he fled the country with millions in Mob money or that he was killed by the Mob.

It was designed and built by avid golfer and architect Bernie Siegel, with a grand plan to build homes on the 262 acre facility, but Siegel mysteriously vanished without a trace in December 1963. In 1982 the PVCC was sold to the Montgomery County Revenue Authority, who has operated it as a public course since that date. The original clubhouse of the PVCC fell into disuse and disrepair and was closed permanently in 2006.
