JB Designs - Custom Rods

For those of you that don't know me, my name is Josh Bible and I started this journey of rod building in 2018. who we lost in 2017.

It started with wanting to build a couple of memorial rods for my stepson Hunter Propst and his grandfather, walleye fishing legend Bob Propst Sr. This hobby quickly escalated as I started to build a few rods for myself and a few close friends. And after a couple years and a countless number of rods later I have decided to go ahead and try my hand at offering them to the public. I have been mainly building rods for walleye fishing to include jigging and bottom bouncing rods. I have also ventured into Ice rods as well. As you can tell by my pics, I like to build a rod with clean lines and use the most light weight components that I can. Feel free to message me if you're interested in a build. Prices vary greatly on blank quality and components used. I will be posting warrant info soon.

A 7’2” Custom built on a high end NFC blank and topping it off are some Titanium Fuji guides, only the very best on this build!
I’m digging the red duck bands along with the red thread, and the handle is also built using red burl cork, this one turned out pretty sweet.

What makes a custom rod custom?? How about a set of custom grips and then carefully selected thread color to build a rod to match a set of reels, that’s what custom rod building is all about!
These grips pushed my patience but the outcome was worth it.
