There's something about a South Dakota summer morning on the sporting clays course that just doesn't get old.
The 31st Dakota Blast is wrapped — and it was a good one. Shooters from across the country, over 1100 targets, $6,000 in prizes, and a Saturday night dinner that reminded us why we do this. Full results are posted on ScoreChaser.

We're leaving the Blast targets set for Week 1, so you can shoot some of the same targets, fresh off the tournament. 4 weeks, 100 targets a week, all skill levels, $55/shooter. Bring a team. Bring a first-timer. Just come out.

What a weekend! A huge thank you to all our sponsors and all our shooters who come out and make the Dakota Blast what it is. We had a blast!
I didn’t get enough pictures but I did get this one of our HOA champion and his crew. Great shooting Steve and to all that won their events and classes, congrats.

What a beautiful day out at Willow Creek and we aren’t done quite yet. We may light the ole fire pit tonight before it’s all said and done!
Thanks to all that came out today and for all those thinking about it - just come! Bob set some incredibly fun and some incredibly frustrating targets, you know the ones you “should” hit? Bring a friend/tag a friend - let’s make this one to remember!

It’s a double post kind of day! First shots of the 2026 Dakota Blast have been fired! These shooters come all the way from Selby and aren’t scared of the wind. I mean it is just a *ahem, breeze…

And of course, wind means some last minute changes to the course. But it’s ok, Bob and Sue are on it!

Come for the shooting, come for the prizes and food, come for the camaraderie - or just come…. It’s gonna be a BLAST!
