Squats and hip hinges get all the attention for glutes and hips — but let’s talk about what’s happening at the ground up. 🦶

Every squat and every hinge starts and ends with your feet. When your arches are active and your foot is stable, you build a strong base that lets the rest of the chain — ankles, knees, hips, spine — work the way it’s supposed to.

Skip the foot, and you’re building strength on a shaky foundation.

In these two videos, we’re not just cueing hips back or knees tracking — we’re cueing feet. Active arches. Controlled toes. A foundation that holds up under load, because that’s what real-life movement demands. 💪

Next time you squat or hinge, try this: before you move, feel your whole foot on the ground. Lift through your arch slightly. Then move. Notice the difference.

Foot function isn’t an afterthought — it’s the starting point. 👣

Pain is a great messenger... but it’s not always a great map.

Just because your neck hurts doesn’t mean your neck is the primary problem.

In this case, the movement assessment pointed us toward the jaw. After addressing restrictions there, neck motion improved immediately.

This is why every evaluation starts with movement, not just where it hurts.

Your body is one connected system. A restriction in one area can create compensation somewhere completely different. If we only chase symptoms, we often miss the reason they keep coming back.

Treat the movement.
Find the driver.
Address the whole picture.

Have you ever had pain that turned out to be coming from somewhere you never expected?

We don’t diagnose off one rep.

One squat, one stride, one single look at how you move. It’s not enough to find the root cause. It’s a snapshot, not the story.

But when we watch the same movement repeated, from different angles, over time, patterns start to emerge. The hip that always shifts the same way. The ankle that never quite loads. The compensation you’ve been running on autopilot for years.

This is where we work. Not guessing. A system of watching your specific movements and understanding your daily habits, so we can unwind the compensations and build patterns that are actually efficient for your body.

Root cause isn’t found in a moment. It’s found in the pattern.

Let’s take a look at today’s sessions. On paper, we treated:

Ischial tunnel syndrome. Femoral nerve entrapment. Dead butt syndrome. Fibular head dysfunction. Postural dysfunction.

But here’s the thing, none of them started out labeled that way.

→ “Ischial tunnel syndrome” started as semimembranosus tendinopathy
→ “Femoral nerve entrapment” started as knee arthritis (which, to be fair, is still part of the picture)
→ “Dead butt syndrome” started as pain from poor posterior chain engagement
→ “Fibular head dysfunction” started as a meniscus tear
→ “Postural dysfunction” started as... postural dysfunction. Sometimes it really is exactly what it looks like.

Two things can be true at once: the symptom is real, and it’s rarely the whole story. Treat only what you see, and you’re managing pain. Find what’s actually driving it, and you’re solving it.

That’s the difference.

If you’re not willing to accept “that’s just aging” as an answer for your strength or mobility, you’re who we built this for.

Most people find us after other treatments didn’t stick. Here’s why ours does: we look at the whole picture, not just the symptom, and build a plan around you as an individual. That’s how you get real results in fewer sessions.

The alternative? More of the same: pain that lingers, strength that keeps slipping, and less of the stuff you actually love doing.

Come see the new sign. Let’s get you back to it.

Reaching out for support. ❤️

My brother-in-law was hit by a car while riding his bike and has a long road to recovery ahead of him. If you’re able to help in any way, it would mean so much to our family. Every bit of support makes a difference.

Thank you.

Trigger points aren’t just knots of tension.

They’re abnormal neuromuscular activity driving biochemical changes that activate your pain receptors — and that’s exactly why just “rubbing them out” rarely works long term.

With Winback TECAR therapy, we target tissue at multiple levels using different frequencies and settings to create real, measurable change.

Here’s what that actually looks like:

🔥 Thermal → increases tissue elasticity, making tissue more receptive to treatment and movement

🧠 Neurological → decreases central sensitization and normalizes neuromuscular activity — essentially helping your nervous system stop over-reacting

🩸 Vascular → increases blood flow and reoxygenates tissue, giving your body the raw materials it needs to heal

⚗️ Metabolic → removes algogenic mediators — the chemical byproducts that are literally keeping your pain receptors turned on

In this clip I’m using an EMS setting to stimulate vascular pumping and normalize neuromuscular activity through gate control, targeting the trigger point at its actual source, not just the symptom.

This is what separates a thorough treatment from a temporary fix.

Thermal. Neurological. Vascular. Metabolic. Winback covers it all.

One of my favorite ways to program exercises is by training the body in sling patterns rather than thinking about muscles in isolation.

The anterior and posterior sling systems connect the upper and lower body through the core, helping you transfer force, improve stability, and move more efficiently. That’s how we walk, run, lift, throw, and handle everyday life.

When these systems aren’t working together, the body finds workarounds and that’s often where pain, stiffness, or recurring injuries begin.

Train movement, not just muscles. The body performs better when everything works as one system. 💪

I always joke that I don’t have hobbies... and I’m only half kidding. 😂

My camera roll is full of videos of patients moving better, exercise progressions, and new treatment ideas. I’ll catch myself thinking about someone’s squat while making dinner or mapping out an exercise plan during a run.

Seeing someone get back to running, lifting, playing with their kids, or simply living without constantly thinking about pain never gets old.

So no, I may not have many traditional hobbies... but I wouldn’t trade this one for anything.

When you love what you do, it doesn’t always feel like work. ❤️

🏃‍♂️ Advanced 360° Control for Runners

If you can't control rotation, frontal plane movement, or your pelvis, your body will find another way to keep you moving. That's when compensation starts, and injuries often follow.

This progression builds the foundation runners need:
✅ Improve hip rotation and adductor mobility
✅ Build lateral core and pelvic stability
✅ Strengthen the muscles that control force, not just produce it

Today's sequence:
• Adductor mobility
• Rotational mobility
• Bird dog row
• Copenhagen plank
• Side plank

Mobility creates the opportunity. Strength teaches your body how to own that new range.

The goal isn't just to run more. it's to run stronger, more efficiently, and with fewer setbacks.

Train your body to control movement in 360°, and every stride becomes more resilient.
