⚽💙 What a great start to the 2026–2027 Academy season!

Our ASA Youth Academy Powered by Global Credit Union kicked off the season with the September 19 Girls Play-Date at CCV Peoria!

A big thank you to CCV Peoria for hosting our Girls Academy teams at such a fantastic facility. To all the players, teams, coaches, and families—thank you for bringing the energy, encouragement, and love of the game to our first event! 🙌

We’re looking forward to a great Academy season filled with learning, teamwork, and fun on the field!

📍 Next up: our Boys Academy event in October at Arizona Athletic Grounds (AAG). See you there!

We Will Always Remember this day.

Today, the Arizona Soccer Association pauses to honor all those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, the heroes who answered the call, and the first responders who put the lives of others before their own.

We hold the families, loved ones, and communities forever changed in our hearts. Their loss will never be forgotten, nor will the courage, sacrifice, and compassion shown that day.

As a soccer community, we honor their memory through kindness, service, and unity—today and always.

We will never forget. We will always remember.

✨ Congratulations to our September AZ Women’s Network Spotlight honorees, Karen Rivas and Katy Rees! ✨

⚽ Katy Rees has turned her lifelong passion for soccer into a career dedicated to developing players and creating opportunities. As Next Level’s Operations Manager and a Women’s UPSL player, she inspires young athletes through her leadership both on and off the field.

⚽ Karen Rivas discovered her love for soccer while competing with her siblings. Today, she is committed to coaching, creating welcoming environments, and helping girls and women feel heard, valued, and supported within the soccer community.

We are incredibly thankful for Karen, Katy, and all the women who continue to lead, inspire, and shape the future of youth sports. Thank you both for everything you do! 💙⚽

Help us recognize the incredible individuals who go above and beyond to support, grow and strengthen Arizona’s soccer community.

Whether it’s a coach, volunteer, referee, administrator or community member, this is your chance to celebrate someone who has made a meaningful impact on players, families, clubs and the game across Arizona.

Award recipients will also advance for further consideration for regional and national honors through US Youth Soccer.
