Hi y’all! Welcome to Frandrup Fastpitch! 🥎
I’ve noticed a lot of new faces/names around here lately, so I wanted to reintroduce myself and share a bit of my story.
My name is Janna Frandrup. Softball has been my entire life, and I wouldn't change a single thing about it. Here is a quick look at my journey from the diamond to the dugout:
The Roots: Born and raised right here in Phoenix, AZ, playing competitive club ball.
The Player: Won a State Championship in 2008 at Greenway High School. Earned a full-ride scholarship to Louisiana Tech University as a utility player and pitcher.
The Coach: I recently stepped down as the Head Coach at Greenway High School after 12 incredible, rewarding years.
My Mission & Passion
Today, my primary focus is raising my two beautiful daughters and pouring my heart into Frandrup Fastpitch private lessons.
While I teach all aspects of the game, my true passion lies in pitching. My favorite part of coaching isn't just tweaking mechanics—it's building deep, lifelong relationships with my athletes. Around here, we work hard, we laugh, we cry, and we learn how to conquer the "game of failure" together. When you train with me, you aren't just a client; you're family.
Life at Home
When I’m not coaching, I’m being a mom to Peyton and Emery. They are huge soccer fans, but lately, they’ve entered a "pitching phase!" After watching my athletes train night after night, they’ve started picking it up just by watching.

Welcome to the 40’s club!!! So proud of this girl and all her hard work! Started with me throwing 31mph and today she reached a huge milestone of hitting 40mph!!!
