Jacob played quite a few years in Upward Flag Football, and one of our strongest memories of him is that he had great hands and could catch ANY pass thrown in his direction. Now in high school, he's on the other side of the ball as a starting linebacker for the North Penn Knights. Jacob had a solid junior year, and we are beyond excited to see the impact he makes as a senior. Can't wait to watch you play, Jacob! 🏈🏈🏈
SOI Gridiron Spotlight Series
Today's spotlight: Jacob Garrett
North Penn | Class of '27
LB / FB | 6'1" | 205 Ibs | No. 33
Jacob Garrett brings toughness, physicality, and a team-first mindset to North Penn.
Coming off a season with 70 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, 3 fumble recoveries, and 1 defensive touchdown, Garrett has already shown he can make an impact in big moments.
His first varsity game included a 70-yard scoop-and-score against Downingtown East, and he later set the tone early against C.B. West with a tackle for loss on the first defensive drive.
Garrett models his game after Zach Baun, continues to work on lateral speed and agility, and says football has helped shape who he is today.
With North Penn coming off a district championship season, Garrett's goal is clear: help take the Knights back and win it again.
The Gridiron Spotlight Series highlights Suburban One League athletes who are producing on the field, handling business in the classroom, and representing their programs the right way.
