🚨 IMPORTANT — GRAND SLAM SHOOTOUT UPDATE 🚨

We want to sincerely apologize to any teams who were registered for today’s Grand Slam Shootout and were not notified that the tournament had been canceled.

We were made aware this morning that some registered teams did not receive notification of the cancellation, and we completely understand the frustration—especially for anyone who made plans, loaded up, traveled, or showed up expecting to play today.

When the decision was made to cancel the tournament due to the projected heat and registration numbers, Co****le Central communicated the cancellation publicly and understood that the registered teams would also be contacted directly through the registration system. Unfortunately, that communication did not happen as expected.

Regardless of where the breakdown occurred, the players are the ones who were affected, and for that we are truly sorry.

We pride ourselves on communicating with our players and doing everything we can to make sure everyone knows when changes happen. Had we known the registered teams had not been contacted directly, we absolutely would have done everything possible to reach them ourselves.

We are already addressing what happened so we can make sure there is a better communication process in place moving forward.

Again, we sincerely apologize to every team affected today. You deserved to know before making the trip, and we completely understand your frustration.
