No racing this weekend. With high temperatures and high humidity work should be really busy this week. I will access Monday and see if we can run any Sumer national races this week.

What a night Pevely was. I have been out 3 nights prior to Pevely's Summer Nationals and have struggled all 3 nights. Two of them I ended up wrecked at nobody's fault but my own. And Saturday at Pevely was not looking to be a great outing at first. I spun out at the end of hot laps and I qualified 7 out of 10 cars in my group. However, I went back to the drawing board and with the help of my crew for the night, Josh Heuiser, Scott Mersinger, Cody Kelso we made some adjustments with advice from Randy Korte for the heat race. We went from 7th to 2nd to qualify for the main event. Now on a personal note, I was on a high just to be out there racing but to actually qualify for the feature and charge up to 2nd had me on cloud 9. That finish put us starting p5 on a slick track with a good group of cars. I over tightened the car and fell back to 8 on the 2nd lap and ran there for several laps and ended up 15th on the lead lap leading the train on the bottom. All and all it turned out to be an awesome night for us. Now to keep building confidence in the car and my ability to wheel it.

First night of 2025 race recap. Went to Highland Speedway and qualified 18th car was way to free for the track condition. Tightened the car up a little (not nearly enough) for our heat race where I started 6th and finished 5th. Made wholesale changes for the feature and tightened up way to much and had to either slow way down entering or break traction just to turn killing momentum. I started 15th and finished 13th. Track was a rare version of smooth and slick which threw me off given the rain we have had over the last couple weeks. But over all a good start. She came home in one piece and only needed washed. Thank you to wonderful wife Jen Milton Wolf , crew Todd Rehg, Keith Kane , Scott Mersinger , Mark Cron, Eric Gorsich, Tyler Rehg, Cody Kelso for all the hard work you do for me. And huge thank you to my wonderful sponsors.
