🏁 TWO WEEKS, SEVEN RACES, ONE VERY BUSY RACE TEAM! 🏁
Well, what do ya know… we’re slackin’ on getting results out AGAIN! Between both of us working full time and keeping this program going, sometimes the results get pushed to the back burner. But eventually… they get posted! We’ve been putting in the miles, trying new things, visiting new tracks, and learning more and more about this B Mod every single week. Here’s the recap! 👇
8/20/2026 — Norman County Raceway| Season Championship Night
• Heat: 3rd ➡️ DNF
• Feature: 17th ➡️ 10th
We were testing some new things on the car in the heat, and let’s just say we needed to make a few more adjustments than what we did! We decided to pull it off, make some changes, and WOW — the car was 100x better for the feature! Nick was on the move, working his way from 17th to another TOP 10!
We also finished 5th in track points for the season! 🏆 Not a bad way to close out the regular season at Norman County!
8/21/2026 — I-94 emr Speedway | Bob Gierke Memorial
Hats off to the I-94 crew for getting this show in! It POURED, and they did a phenomenal job getting the track right where it needed to be! 40 B Mods checked in!
• Heat: 7th ➡️ 4th
NO B-MAIN! One of our goals every night, and we’ll always celebrate that!
• Feature: 16th ➡️ 17th
Nothing to complain about! The field at Fergus Falls is ALWAYS stacked with competition, and the car was great all night. We’re getting more and more comfortable with this car at I-94, and that’s a huge win for us!
8/22/2026 — Casino Speedway
After heading home from Fergus Falls and originally planning on taking a shop day, we made a last-minute decision to GO RACING! Quick bath for the car, load everything back up, and off we went! Nick has been to Casino Speedway multiple times, but had never raced it, so we were excited to see what we could do!
• Heat: 3rd ➡️ 3rd
• Feature: 7th ➡️ 8th
Overall, we were extremely happy with the night! The car was great, Nick was happy with the results, and we got another new track checked off the list!
8/23/2026 — Granite City Motor Park
Back to our regular Sunday track!
• Heat: 1st ➡️ 3rd
It was a GREAT battle between the top 3 all heat race, going back and forth the entire time!
• Feature: 6th ➡️ 7th
We may have dropped back one spot, but Nick ended up at the back of the field after a caution and worked his way all the way back up! With some tough competition ahead of him, we were happy with the fight he put in.
8/27/2026 — Sheyenne Speedway
With our regular Thursday night racing done for the season, we headed down to Sheyenne Speedway. Needless to say… we weren’t really sure what to expect. We haven’t had much luck here in the past, so just finishing the night was a goal!
• Heat: 1st ➡️ 4th
• Feature: 13th ➡️ 13th
We’ll take it as a win! We FINALLY finished a race here! Sometimes you have to celebrate the little victories, and this one definitely counts!
8/28/2026 — I-94 EMR Speedway
Another stacked field with 34 B Mods checked in!
• Heat: 7th ➡️ 3rd
No B-Main again! We’re getting more and more comfortable in this car at Fergus Falls, and it’s really starting to show!
• Feature: 11th ➡️ 12th
Another solid night of learning and gaining experience!
8/29/2026 — Madison Speedway MN
Another new track for us to race, although Nick had been here before!
• Heat: 4th ➡️ 4th
The heat went awesome! We just needed to find some different gearing for the feature.
• Feature: 12th ➡️ 10th
We worked our way up to 9th for a while before some cautions started coming out. Unfortunately, the night ended how no driver wants to finish…on the tow truck. Coming out of Turn 4 on the checkered, Nick had room to get around a spinning car. Unfortunately, that car came back up the track and into us wanting to finish the race, and from there it was just a mess. Luckily, we crossed the checkered flag. Unfortunately, the car didn’t look quite as good as it did when the night started. We ended up with quite a bit of damage between rear-end components, the driveshaft, transmission, and a crushed header.
That unfortunately meant we had to miss Championship Night at Granite City Motor Park, which definitely wasn’t how we wanted to end the weekend. But at the end of the day…Nick is okay and that’s all that matters! A HUGE thank you to Jeff Nelson Motorsports, Jarrett & Greg Huus for jumping in and helping us get the car back in the trailer and get everything home. We truly appreciate you guys!
Now we’re in the process of getting everything fixed up and seeing if we can get this thing back on the track this weekend! 🤞
This rookie B Mod season has been one heck of a learning experience. We’ve had our ups, downs, top 10s, new tracks, stacked fields, late nights, long drives, and A LOT of learning — but we wouldn’t trade it for anything. Thank you to everyone who continues to support us, cheer us on, and help make this program possible.
We’ll see what this weekend brings…
STAY TUNED! 👀🏁
