Ottawa Ladies Classic – Event Day Information
Ladies,

We’re excited to welcome you to the Ottawa Ladies Classic on September 26th! We have a great day planned and want to share a few important details for tournament day.

Schedule of Events

7:30–8:30 AM – Warm-Up & Glass Break
The course and practice areas will be available for warm-up. Be sure to stop by and take your shot at our Glass Break Challenge!

8:45 AM – Announcements & Rules
Please gather for a brief welcome, tournament announcements, and review of the rules and format.

9:00 AM – Sh***un Start
All teams will begin play promptly at 9:00 AM.

2:00 PM – Lunch & Awards
Following play, lunch and the awards presentation will begin at 2:00 PM in the basement of the Ottawa Memorial Auditorium.

Please take a moment to look over the attached pairings and check that your team information is accurate. If you notice any errors or changes that need to be made, please let us know as soon as possible.

We are super excited to have everyone out for the Ottawa Ladies Classic and are looking forward to a great day!

We currently have ONE team opening remaining. If you know anyone who would like to play, please have them reach out to us as soon as possible.

While the greens are still a little sandy from Monday’s aerification, the rest of the course is in amazing shape following the recent rains!

The course is green, healthy, and playing great. Be sure to grab a tee time, or come join us this evening for the Thursday Night Scramble!

NEVADA, Mo. – The Ottawa women's golf team kicked off the 2026 season and earned second place at the Cottey Fall Invitational. The Braves earned second place with a combined score of 690 (344, 346).

Tournament begins at 3:00 PM.

The course will be closed Saturday morning for the Ottawa Ladies Classic.

That concludes our second PGA Family Golf Night of the year!

We had more than 50 players out on the course tonight enjoying a great evening of golf, family, and fun. It was awesome seeing so many families playing the game together.

**URGENT NEWS FLASH — COURSE CLOSURE**

Following the conclusion of PGA Family Golf Night this evening, Ottawa Golf Course will be **CLOSED until NOON on Tuesday** for our annual fall aerification.

This important maintenance helps keep our greens healthy and playing their best throughout the season.
