It is with great sadness that ISMA- MSS extends our condolences on the passing of longtime Supermodified supporter and friend, Jim Shirey.

For so many years, Jim’s passion for Supermodified racing was evident in the way he supported the sport, the teams, and the drivers especially his sons. He was more than a fan — he was part of the racing family, and his presence at the track will be greatly missed.

Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with Jim’s family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him. We hope the memories made over the years bring comfort during this difficult time.

Thank you, Jim, for your years of support and for being a part of the Supermodified family.

Rest easy, Jim. You will be missed, remembered, and never forgotten. 🏁

Jeffrey Battle brought home a hard‑earned third‑place finish after a night of adversity at Evans Mills Raceway Park! Caught up in an early caution while avoiding a crash, Battle headed to the pits for quick repairs — and once he rejoined the field, he charged back through the pack. He fought his way to the front and delivered a huge comeback run for himself and his team.
