Stroman’s Bat Carries Elk’s Past Boscos
Jullian Stroman collected three hits in three at bats, as Elks defeated Boscos 19-12 on Wednesday at Lagoe. Stroman doubled in the third inning, doubled in the sixth inning, and doubled in the first inning.

Elks collected 16 hits and Boscos had 10 in the high-scoring affair.

Elks opened the scoring in the top of the first thanks to two singles. Elks first got on the board when Lillian Morse singled, scoring two runs.

Elks added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Stroman doubled to left field, and Morse singled, each scoring two runs.

Elks scored six runs on five hits in the top of the sixth inning. Rylan Wilson doubled, scoring one run, Stroman doubled, scoring one run, Morse singled, scoring two runs, and Ollie Miller tripled, scoring two runs.

Boscos scored five runs on two hits in the bottom of the sixth inning. Murphy Webb was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Colton Stevens drew a walk, scoring one run, Danny Mulcahey drew a walk, scoring one run, and Easton Stevens singled, scoring two runs.

Luca Cruz stepped on the mound first for Elks. The pitcher gave up one hit and one run (zero earned) over two innings, striking out six and walking none. Logan DeWolf led things off on the bump for Boscos. The hurler allowed five hits and four runs (three earned) over two innings, striking out five and walking one. Rylan Wilson, Deacon Wiebel, Miller and Caleb Murray each appeared in relief for Elks.

Elks accumulated 16 hits in the game. Rylan Wilson, Stroman, and Morse each collected three hits for Elks. Murray collected two hits for Elks in four at bats. Stroman also stole two bases.

Boscos piled up 10 hits in the game. Christian Waters led Boscos with two hits in three at bats from the leadoff position.

Anthony Baker’s Big Day Propels Bosco's Past K or C

Anthony Baker drove in four runs on two hits to lead Boscos past K of C 16-3 on Saturday at Lagoe Field. Anthony doubled in the third inning, scoring two runs, and singled in the fourth inning, scoring two.

Boscos got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Zack Colasurdo singled to center field, Boscos scored on a wild pitch, Danny Mulcahey walked, Murphy Webb walked, Colton Stevens singled to left field, and Easton Stevens grounded into a fielder's choice, each scoring one run.

Boscos scored five runs on six hits in the bottom of the third inning. Mulcahey doubled, scoring one run, Baker doubled, scoring two runs, and Mason Moore tripled, scoring two runs.

Boscos scored five runs on five hits in the bottom of the fourth inning. Noah Dawson singled, scoring one run, Webb drew a walk, scoring one run, Baker singled, scoring two runs, and Moore singled, scoring one run.

Colasurdo led things off on the mound for Boscos. The starter allowed four hits and two runs over four innings, striking out five and walking five. Joey Knopp stepped on the mound first for K of C. The pitcher gave up three hits and six runs over one-third of an inning, striking out one and walking three. Moore appeared in relief for Boscos.

Boscos tallied 14 hits in the game. Moore, Colasurdo, Baker, Christian Waters, and Luke Frost each collected two hits for Boscos. Webb paced Boscos with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, accumulating seven walks for the game. Colasurdo and Mulcahey each stole multiple bases for Boscos. Boscos stole eight bases in the game.

Ethan Johnston and Arya MacCaul were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in one run for KOC. Arya MacCaul led K of C with two hits in two at bats. Will MacCaul led K of C with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, tallying eight walks for the game.

Carr’s First Homerun Lifts Elks Past Police

Elks dispatched Police on Friday at Lagoe, 9-2.

Elks got on the board in the top of the first inning after Jason Carr singled down the right field line, Luca Cruz singled to right field, and Police dropped a third strike, each scoring one run.

Elks added one run in the second. Ollie Miller stole home, making the score 4-0.

A ground out by Jason Carr extended the Elks lead to 5-0 in the top of the third inning.

Jason Carr hit a solo home run to left field in the top of the fifth for the Elks.

Luca Cruz earned the win for Elks. The starter allowed two hits and one run over three and two-thirds innings, striking out nine and walking two. Braxtyn Smith began the game for Police. The pitcher allowed eight hits and seven runs (six earned) over three and two-thirds innings, striking out five and walking four. Deacon Wiebel threw one and one-third innings of zero-run ball for Elks in relief. The reliever gave up zero hits, striking out five and walking one.

Elks amassed 12 hits in the game. Jason Carr provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Elks with three runs batted in. The 3-hole hitter went 2-for-3 on the day. Carr, Jullian Stroman, and Lillian Morse each collected two hits for Elks. Stroman and Morse each stole multiple bases for Elks. Elks ran wild on the base paths, collecting seven stolen bases for the game.

Izayah Perez and Braxtyn Smith were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected one hit for Police. Kenny Hobar led Police with one run batted in. Perez stole two bases.

Elks cruise past Firefighters to reach 10-0 on the Season

Elks dispatched Firefighters on Tuesday at Legends Fields, 18-5.

Elks got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Firefighters committed an error, and Lillian Morse lined into a double play, each scoring one run.

Elks added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning after Ollie Miller singled to center field, Knox Miller walked, and Firefighters committed an error, each scoring one run.

A ground out by Caleb Murray, a walk by Jason Carr, and an error helped Elks extend their early lead in the third.

Elks scored nine runs on five hits in the bottom of the fourth inning. Rylan Wilson doubled, scoring two runs, an error scored one run, Jason Carr singled, scoring one run, Reed O’Neil induced morse to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, Jullian Stroman singled, scoring one run, and Deacon Wiebel singled, scoring one run.

Lillian Morse earned the win for Elks. The starter surrendered zero hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out four and walking one. Macsen Murray led things off on the hill for Firefighters. The starting pitcher surrendered three hits and 13 runs (eight earned) over three innings, striking out three. Knox Miller, Jax Miller, Jullian Stroman, Caleb Murray, Owen Parkhurst, and Ollie Miller each came on in relief for Elks and shutdown Firefighters.

Deacon Wiebel, Elks's number seven hitter, led the team with three hits in three at-bats. Rylan Wilson, Jason Carr, and Caleb Murray each drove in two runs for Elks.

Aydrean Fera, Owen Bartholomew, and Brayden Woodworth each collected one hit for Firefighters. Brayden, Hunter Gleason, and Reed O’Neil each drove in one run for Firefighters.
