Toni Roni just reached a milestone! We are officially out of the 200s and shes 41lbs down in 5 months...

The last month has been troublesome... teetering between 201 and 203 every weigh in... last month was her breaking point can you believe toni threw a whole tantrum at 5am? Im talking lip poked out and stomping her feet in frustration rage 😅 persistence paid off though.... "keep fighting toni roni, this is the test you need to break thru this plateau.. you gotta do more, be more, if you want more..."

Toni dont be playing with these workouts she barely even says a word her entire workout until its time to leave.

She deserves all this....

We're not even six months in..

We're nearly 50lbs down.

Here's thing (Ben Grimm smirk) all 50lbs isn't equal. We lift. We lift a lot. And we lift heavy.

Weight training will make you dense (heavier) so while you're cleaning up your nutrition and moving more the scale can be frustrating, maybe even confusing.

So OUR 50lbs will look like 60 or 70lbs down accounting for the muscle gained.

Meaghan hates lifting. Lol she throws a full tantrum when I move up on her weights and im often met with hostility, resistance, or complaining.

Seeing Meaghan like this on her stories was great. Shes super conservative lol.. big workout clothes. Something always her head...

Fitness is so much more than weight loss.. its strength. It's performance. It's a feeling... its confidence...

Speedy sparked the idea for us to compete in a HYROX event on September 4th in Washington, DC. Over the past few months, I’ve been opening up the gym for free training sessions for Black men 30+, and what started as a simple idea has grown into something much bigger—former competitors coming together to step back into competition.

We’re planning an interest meeting soon for anyone who wants to join our training group with the goal of competing on September 4th. We’ll build out a weekly schedule focused specifically on HYROX-style training.

This is open to all genders, and the best part—it’s completely free.

It’s our one-year trainer-client anniversary! The first few months were a challenge, but I couldn’t be more proud of her progress. Every morning at 5:30am she walks in with that signature mean mug and a few eye rolls—but she’s fully embraced the journey and the results speak for themselves: over 60 pounds down in one year.

Thank you for trusting me with your fitness goals. We’re just getting started—next stop, 100 pounds down.
