Congrats Brady!

💥⚾🚨 COACHING ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨⚾💥

Georgetown Baseball Club is excited to annouce Brady Marshall as the 13U head coach for the 2026-2027 season.

Coach Marshall graduated from Lafayette High School in Lexington, Kentucky. He played in the Northern / South Lexington Cal Ripken League and American Legion Post 8 while growing up. Coach Marshall is one of three sons to two-time Kentucky High School Athletic Association state champion & 2003 Baseball Head Coach of the Year Mickey Marshall.

​Coach Marshall began coaching at Southwest Pony Baseball in 2016, and has over a decade of coaching experience. He has served as an assistant baseball coach at Lafayette High School and has coached travel baseball since 2020. Coach Marshall currently serves as an assistant baseball coach at Bryan Station High School.

Our 5pm game out at Douglass will see the Stallions (2-4) match-up with the Knights (2-5) as both teams look to get back to their winning ways. It should be an exciting wrap up of our weekend; one win could put either team within striking distance of the top of the league. Who's taking this one down?

Our 2pm game today will see the Bombers (4-2) and the Warriors (5-2) faceoff at Fredrick Douglass High School. A battle for the league lead is on the line today. Who comes out on top?

Another photo dump, this time of the last time the Warriors and the Bombers on July 15th. The Warriors took the victory on this day 6-5 at Dunbar. The two teams face off again tomorrow.

We have a loaded Sunday, as the Bombers (4-2) and the Warriors (5-2) will battle it out at 2pm for league lead. At 5pm, the Knights (2-5) and the Stallions (2-4) both look to get back in the win column. All of the action will be found at Fredrick Douglass High School. Weekend weather looks wonderful, so we'll see you out there.

In our other game over at Bryan Station, the Warriors improved to 5-2 on the year by winning 9-7 against the Stallions. Spencer Brandenburg hit a home run with two hits on the day. Daniel Wilkerson went 2-4 with 4 RBI as he did everything he could to keep the Stallions afloat. The Stallions drop to 2-4 on the year.

In our game over at Dunbar, the Bombers took down the Knights 7-6. Backup catcher Jake Steppe picked up a few hits, including a double to help lead the Bombers. Luke Schwendeman sprayed line drives over the field all day to keep the Knights in it. The Bombers improve to 4-2 on the year while the Knights fall to 2-5.

Our other 7pm game sees the first-place Warriors (4-2) and the Stallions (2-3) face off for a third time this year. This is the second time the two teams have faced off this year with the Warriors taking a slim 10-9 win back in June. Can the Warriors stay atop of the league? Or will the Stallions get their revenge? Find out tonight at Bryan Station High School!

We're back for an action packed Wednesday. Over at Dunbar, the Knights (2-4) look to get back to their winning ways as they take on the Bombers (3-2). The Knights lead the season series 1-0. Will they take down their second game against the Bombers? Or will the Bombers continue to jump their record in pursuit of first place? Find out at 7pm tonight.
