The Newton Recreation Commission is looking for 1-2 new team members to join our NRC Clubhouse Staff! 🧡

NRC Clubhouse provides before and/or after-school care for children in Kindergarten–6th Grade.

✨ What we’re looking for:
• Must be 16 years or older
• 5–15 hours per week, Monday–Friday
• Morning (6:30am-7:35am) and/or afternoon (3pm-6pm) availability
• Kind, caring, enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working with children
• Someone who can be a positive role model and have fun!
• Background check required if over 18

🎉 Benefit: Single Wellness Center membership included!

The pool will REOPEN Monday, September 28 for regular classes and public swim times. 🌊

Our next Bake the Basics class is coming up Wednesday, September 23rd! 👩‍🍳

Join us for a hands-on baking experience where participants will learn essential kitchen skills while measuring, mixing, and creating delicious sweet treats from scratch! We’ll cover proper measuring techniques, basic baking methods, kitchen safety, and food preparation skills. No experience needed—just bring your curiosity and a sweet tooth! ❤️

We had SO much fun at Makerhaus Collective yesterday! Our kiddos were busy creating, exploring, and getting their hands messy—and we can’t wait to see their super cool masks come to life for this week’s project! 😍🎭
