Just finished final planing & gluing these strips for a Goodwin Granger 7' 2/2 4 weight taper. I used a rattan handle to contrast/accentuate the darker brown cane in the rod & installed a new all metal reel seat that looks similar to the original Granger seats.

I think I'll wrap it in the rarer Granger Registered model theme colors.

I've already planed the strips for a 2nd Granger, same length & line weight while I had the forms set!

I'll post more pics when it's all done!

It has been wrapped in a deeper blue silk thread, new Graywolf uplocking reel seat, new cigar cork handle, new varnish & has a brookie themed fin to accent this beautiful rod! It comes with a cloth bag & will be securely shipped & insured in a sturdy pvc tube for maximum protection.
