IT’S PEP-RALLY WEEK: This Thursday is our first pep-rally of the school year so make sure to wear your Camo on Thursday and show your school spirit bc we’re Goin’ On A Bear Hunt vs Montgomery!! 🐻

Also, School pictures are on MONDAY for all 9-11 graders during your ENGLISH classes. YES, we will still workout in the AM, so please make sure to be on time to allow for you to prep for pictures!

Lastly, please make sure to pick up your homework & sheets from your whiteboards in your locker rooms & remember to keep your folders organized!

Grades are be due on Friday 8/24 & our first PR will be the following week (Sept 4th) - please take care of your business!!

BLOCK DAY REMINDER: Softball athletes will be required to bring their bat bags and personal softball equipment during the class period, as these will be our big skill breakdown/practice days in the fall semester!!

• Online Paperwork (Rank One) ✅

We will meet AT THE SOFTBALL FIELD HOUSE on Thursday, August 6th!! You are responsible for:
• Blue or Black spirit t-shirt
• Black athletic shorts
• Tennis shoes
• Personal water bottle

We would like to introduce another new assistant coach on staff this year, Coach Nicole Smith.

Coach Smith joins us from a very successful season at Livingston HS this past year and she is very passionate about helping student-athletes grow both on and off the field through hard work, teamwork, and a positive attitude!

She is looking forward to building relationships with our players and families while creating an environment where everyone feels supported and encouraged to succeed. Coach Smith is excited to be part of the New Caney community and can’t wait to get started on what I know will be a great season!

We would like to introduce one of our new assistant coaches on staff for the 2026-2027 school year:
• Coach Lainey Niederhofer

She is originally from Willis, TX and a recent graduate of Prairie View A&M University, where she played Division I softball and earned her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology.

Coach Neiderhofer is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Health while beginning her teaching & coaching career at NCHS.

Coach Neiderhofer said: “I’m so excited to be joining the Eagle softball program and I am looking forward to working with our athletes this season!”
