Al Amanecer Boxing Al Amanecer Boxing provides supervised boxing instruction in Napa for youths and adults. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. What does "Al Amanecer" mean?

Learn boxing fundamentals, technique, and strategy as well as strength and conditioning. In Spanish, Al Amanecer is moving toward the dawn of a new day. Our goal is to give young people a fresh start, especially those who may have headed down a dangerous path. "Al" is also in homage to Coach Al Dawson, who was Coach Jesús Solís's boxing coach and mentor in the late 1960s and introduced him to the sweet science.

One of our Napa boxers holds the record for quickest knockout ever recorded in the Golden Gloves championships after running across the ring after the bell rang.
His opponent had a bad habit of turning his back and stretching his arms in his corner as soon as the bell would ring starting the bout.
