June Member of the Month: Catherine! 📜⚖️

We sent Catherine our June questions, and as a true legal professional, she sent back a formal "discovery response" (objections and all! 😜).

Catherine joined us after moving to Oklahoma during a tough career transition, and she has been the absolute light of our community ever since—whether she’s singing 6 AM solos or bringing homemade desserts to class! 🍰

The Case on Catherine:

Sweat & Community: For Catherine, working out is all about quality time with her gym buddies. Sweating together fuels her desire to exercise and makes the hard work fun! ☀️

Proving Dwight Schrute Wrong: She’s spent the year working on strict pull-ups to prove Dwight wrong from The Office about women having weak arms. By December, she promises "some ammo in these guns." 💪

Louisiana Heat Approved: As a Louisiana native, the Oklahoma heat doesn't phase her. Her strategy? "Focus on the people around you rather than the score. The hotter it gets, the more important it is to encourage a partner or make someone new feel welcome."

Out of Office: You’ll find her paddling down a body of water with her dog, traveling to see family, or baking.

Catherine, thank you for bringing so much humor, dedication, and heart to our gym family. You remind us that it’s always about the people, never just the scoreboard! 🫶

This photo captures the heart of our gym really well.

You could show up at ANY of our classes throughout the day, and you’ll see someone standing beside another person cheering them on while they grind through their workout.

Doesn’t matter if it’s dark outside at 5am, or the end of the day at 6:30pm. Someone is always there.

That happens regardless of age, your job title, or whatever level of fitness you’re at.

We’re like-minded people, supporting and cheering for each other one step at a time.

It's Wednesday- we're halfway through the week. It might have gone by fast and smoothly so far, or it might have been slow and stressful.

Either way, it's the perfect day for our Hustle & Flow class at 6:30pm!

Heavy lifting doesn't just change your body- it changes your mindset.

At one point in time, you had never lifted a barbell or weights. You showed up, and learned from scratch. You repeatedly focused on form, technique, and were heavily critiqued.

You failed...a lot.

But then, one day, you realized all of those failed lifts were actually just part of your growth. You lifted the weight that you once couldn't.

And with that physical strength, came the mental strength.
- You can do hard things.
- You can finish, and not quit when you're uncomfortable.
- You learned that success is only valuable if you put in the effort to get there.

A new week means new opportunities to get stronger — physically and mentally.

Some days motivation shows up easily, and other days it takes discipline just to walk through the door. Both count.

Remember:
✅ Every rep builds confidence.
✅ Every workout is progress.
✅ Every small effort adds up over time.

You don’t have to be perfect this week. You just have to keep showing up.

This Memorial Day, we will be hosting the 10am heat of the MURPH event at Scissortail Park downtown.

This specific Hero Wod honors Lt. Michael Murphy, and several scaling/partner options will be available.

1 Mile Run
100 Pullups
200 Pushups
300 Air Squats
1 Mile Run
