Fresh ice at Lakeshore Sports Centre can only mean one thing, hockey season is approaching. The pre-season Muskegon Voyagers game on October 3 is four weeks away.

The 10th Edition of "the Fic-tionary” is coming soon. Attached is a sneak-peak rendering of the cover of the new "Fic-tionary".

Some of you are asking what is “the Fic-tionary,". It is the colorful words that Terry Ficorelli uses during his broadcasts to describe the hockey game, ie: Boom shack-la, Moshi Mo, Hallelujah Hollywood.

It will be available to Voyagers fans at the home games this season as well as online on our social media platforms soon!

The new “Fic-tionary," is being released with the count down to Terry’s broadcasting for his 4,000 hockey game later this season. The Italian word for 4000 is "QUATTROMILA.".

THE VOYAGERS IN THE SIGNING MODE; FOUR MORE INCUMBENTS COME TO TERMS FOR THE NEW 2026-27 SEASON

KOLENDA, KASS, KURAMOCHI AND SHAFER SIGN THEIR PACTS; 18-PLAYERS UNDER MUSKEGON MIHL CONTRACTS

MUSKEGON, MI --- With the calendar set to reach the month of September, the Muskegon Voyagers, proud members of the MIHL (Michigan Independence Hockey League), have stepped up the pace in assembling their roster for the rapidly-approaching 2026-27 season.

On this date, the MIHL league’s all-time winningest team has announced that four more players have acceded to terms and inked their respective contracts for the seventh edition of Muskegon Voyagers pro hockey on the lakeshore. Goaltender ALAN KOLENDA, right wing JOSH SHAFER, along with defensemen ALEX KASS and RYOSUKE KURAMOCHI are in the home team’s camp set to don the black, jade and white for the new season. Adhering to club policy, terms of the contracts were not disclosed.

The last summer 2026 parade that the Muskegon Voyagers will take part in is the Roosevelt Park Parade on Saturday, September 12 at 10:00AM.

MUSKEGON, MI --- It is a clear sign that the 2026-27 Muskegon Voyagers pro hockey season is rapidly approaching with today’s announcement that the MIHL’s all-time winningest team will be hosting a league pre-season game at their home of Lakeshore Sports Centre.

The date is SATURDAY NIGHT, OCTOBER 3RD when the Voyagers play host to one of the new debuting MIHL member clubs in the Summit City Distillers. Game time is set for 7:30 PM.

THE MIHL’S ALL-TIME WINNINGEST TEAM NOW HAS 14 PLAYERS SIGNED, SEALED AND DELIVERED FOR 2026-27

VOYAGERS AGREE TO TERMS WITH TWO TOP STALWARTS; LUKE MCKINCH, MIKE LOZICKI HAVE BOTH SIGNED IN

MUSKEGON, MI --- Having captured four MIHL League Championships through the league’s initial six years as well as three more MIHL Regular Season crowns as the circuit’s all-time winningest team, the Muskegon Voyagers continue to address roster construction for the rapidly-approaching 2026-27 season.

On this date, the Voyagers have announced that two more lineup luminaries have assented to contract terms, entering and signing in for the fresh campaign. Defenseman LUKE MCKINCH and left wing MIKE LOZICKI are back in the Voyagers house with new deals. Adhering to club policy, terms of both contracts were not disclosed.
