Everything I did was well-intentioned.

I was bound and determined to lose the weight and no one was going to say that I lacked effort or discipline.

So when the weight wouldn’t move fast enough, or I seem to be stalling, I would immediately panic.

Instead of giving the plan time to work, I would try to change everything. And it backfired every single time.

Effort and discipline is not your problem. Your problem is not giving the plan time to work.

So my advice to you- stop trying to change everything at once; follow a structured plan and give it time to actually work.

You’re not failing; you’re trying too hard to fix it all and calling it discipline.

You don’t need to pay someone to cheer you on.

You’ve been at this fitness game long enough.

You get the workout in even when you don’t feel motivated. You skipped the nightly dessert when you know it’s not helping you reach your goals.

But you still attend those same group classes, doing a bunch of random exercises, with women of all experience levels and goals.

You’re frustrated that your body doesn’t seem to change, but you’re determined enough to not give up.

So you do what you always do-more research, more changes, never knowing exactly which variable is going to be THE change that actually works.

That’s my job as a coach. To step in when my high achieving women want to start changing everything without the data to support it.

I’m not here to give you more things to do or make five changes on a weekly basis. I’m here to help you identify the right thing to do next.

For the first time in 25 years, I’m realizing what a holiday weekend is actually supposed to look like.

In the past, this was the first chance I had to actually catch up from the beginning of school in August.

Most people would spend their time taking one of their last trips out on the lake or hanging out with friends in the backyard. I never did that because I was so stressed about all the work looming over me.

And for the first time in 25 years, I actually enjoyed a laid-back weekend without feeling like my to-do list was growing exponentially.

I’m more grateful than ever for having the courage to make a change. For trusting in myself enough to know I was capable of more.

Now I’m doing something that I truly love without the high stress price tag.

And actually enjoying the weekend!

If someone is holding you back from achieving your goals, cut them loose.

And no, that doesn’t mean I’m divorcing my husband! 🤣

In marriage, we are pretty good partners. Working out- not so much. He simply doesn’t share the same goals as me and that’s ok.

But think about this in your life. Who is holding you back, even unintentionally? My husband didn’t set out to ruin my pace on our morning walk.

Your friends that you attend classes with… are they pushing you to work harder, or are you spending half the workout catching up? Save the giggles for a girl’s night out.

Family that invites you out to eat only to comment on what you order?

Friends who always want to go out for drinks.

And sometimes the person holding you back is you. The version of you that negotiates the workout- cut out some exercises, choose the easier weight or even skip a workout all together.

Sometimes that’s the bitch you need to ditch! 😉

Fitness advice for women over 40 is starting to feel like one giant argument. 😂

And if you’re trying to build muscle, lose fat, and actually see more definition, the problem probably isn’t that you haven’t learned enough.

You’ve been working out for years. You’ve read the posts. You’ve saved the Reels. You’ve tried plenty of the advice.

You don’t need to do ALL of it. You need to know which pieces actually matter for your goal and which ones are just noise.

That’s a huge part of how I coach: looking at what you’re actually doing with your training, nutrition, and recovery before deciding something needs to change.

Because more fitness information doesn’t automatically create better results.

Better decisions do.

The overachiever’s response to fitness advice:

“Got it. I’ll do ALL OF IT.” 😂

You don’t need to.

Before adding another habit, supplement, workout or nutrition rule, ask:
What’s the biggest thing currently limiting the result I want?

Fix that.
THEN worry about optimizing the smaller stuff.

Ten good ideas competing for your attention aren’t a strategy.

Know what matters next.

Save this if you’ve ever wondered who’s actually behind this account.

Short version: 25 years in a classroom, then a leap into something that scared me and lit me up at the same time.

I coach women 35+ who already train hard and are ready for a plan that actually works with their body now, not five years ago.

No gimmicks, no 6 week promises, no cookie cutter plans.

Just real strategy, real accountability, and someone in your corner every single week.

If any of this sounds like you, DM me READY and let’s talk about what this could look like for you.

I’m not trying to rewind the clock.

I don’t want my 25-year-old body back.
I want to see what I can build at 46.

More muscle. More strength. More definition.

And yes- I want the work I put in to actually SHOW.

Getting older didn’t make me less ambitious.
It just means I’m building from a different starting point.

That’s exactly who I created Visible Lift Protocol for:

Women who already know how to work hard and aren’t interested in lowering the bar now.

If you’re not done building either, DM me READY.

You don’t need me standing on the sidelines yelling “YOU’VE GOT THIS!” 😂

You already know you’ve got this.
Give you the right plan and you’ll do the damn work.

Which is exactly why being stuck is so frustrating.
Because your instinct is always the same:

Try harder.
More workouts. Less food. More discipline.

But at some point, you have to stop asking:
“How can I work harder?”
and start asking:
“Am I working hard at the right things?”

That’s the woman I built Visible Lift Protocol for.

If you’re already willing to do the work and you’re just ready for that work to finally SHOW, DM me READY.

I’ll say it. 😂

Yes, I want strong bones.
Yes, I want to be healthy at 70.
Yes, longevity matters to me.

I also want to look hot as hell NOW.

Strong shoulders. Visible muscle. Great legs. A dress that makes me stop at the mirror and go, okayyyy. 👀

I’m allowed to want both.

Wanting aesthetic results doesn’t make your goals shallow.

So which camp are you in?

A: Give me the strong bones
B: Give me the hot arms
C: Obviously BOTH 😂

I’m a very enthusiastic C.
