What if fear isn't the problem?
What if the problem is waiting for fear to disappear before taking action?
This week on Real Chat with Kat, I sat down with the incredible Sabrina Shafer, and wow... this conversation challenged so much of what we've been taught about fear.
Most people think confidence comes first and action follows.
Sabrina believes the opposite.
Confidence is built by doing the scary thing.
By showing up nervous.
By taking the chance.
By speaking up when your voice shakes.
By being willing to fail, learn, and keep moving forward.
And the thing that really hit home for me?

Even the most successful people still experience it.
The difference is they've learned how to move forward anyway.
Throughout this conversation, we explored how fear can actually become a compassโpointing us toward growth, opportunity, authenticity, and the next version of ourselves.
We talked about perfectionism, people-pleasing, self-confidence, judgment, authenticity, and how so many of the things holding us back are rooted in fear of rejection, failure, or not being enough.
Sabrina shared her own journey from being terrified of public speaking to building an entire career around it, and how embracing her "Fear Forward" philosophy completely transformed her life.

โจ "It's my job to show up as my best, most authentic self. Then it's their job to figure out what to do with it."
Read that again.
How much time and energy could we save if we stopped trying to manage everyone else's opinions and simply focused on showing up as ourselves?
Sabrina, thank you for bringing your wisdom, honesty, humor, and energy to this conversation. I am so grateful you joined me and shared your story with our community. ๐
Now I'm curious...
What is one thing you've been wanting to do, but fear has been holding you back from?
