📣 A Few EQuest Updates Before Sign-Ups Open! 🤠

As we get ready to use eQuest for our KJRA rodeo entries, here are a few things we want everyone to know ahead of time:

1️⃣ More Than One Contestant?
If you have more than one contestant competing, each contestant will need their own eQuest account/username. You can go ahead and create those separate accounts NOW so you're ready when sign-ups open! Below is the link to create your contestant an account.

2️⃣ DAY PASS Contestants
If you are planning to day pass for one day OR the entire weekend, you will select “KJRA Daypass – One Day or Weekend” under the Add-Ons section when registering.

3️⃣ Already Have an eQuest Account?
If your child already has an eQuest account from KY Jr. High Rodeo, please use that same login information. There is no need to create a new account!

4️⃣ 3% Processing Fee
Please be aware that eQuest charges a 3% fee at checkout. At this time, that fee will still be charged even if you select “Pay at the Rodeo” you'll still have to checkout online to pay the 3% fee.

🐴 We know a new system comes with a little bit of a learning curve, and we appreciate everyone's patience as we get started! Our hope is that once we all get familiar with eQuest, it will make rodeo sign-ups easier for everyone.

We are excited to roll out our NEW online sign-up system through eQuest!

When the link is posted tomorrow evening, you will be able to complete:

⭐ Rodeo #1 & #2 entries
⭐ Stall sign-ups
⭐ Hookup sign-ups

All from the same link!

Since this is a brand-new program for all of us, we ask for a little grace and patience as we learn and navigate the new system together. We are excited about this change and think it will make things much easier once we all get the hang of it!

📣 KJRA Consignment Sale Announcement! 🤠

We're excited to announce that KJRA will be hosting a Consignment Sale on October 17–18 at the John Arnold Arena in Sturgis!

Now is the perfect time to start setting aside those western items you no longer use. Tack, western clothing, boots, hats, horse equipment, home décor, and more are all welcome!

Items can be dropped off Friday night or Saturday Morning.

Please make sure:
✔️ Every item is labeled with your name and asking price
✔️ Clothing is on hangers
✔️ Items are clean and ready to sell
✔️ If selling a saddle, please bring a stand

Items that are not prepared for the sale will not be accepted.

KJRA will retain 25% of each sale, with proceeds going directly toward our Year-End Awards.

We hope you'll clean out your tack room, barn, or closet and participate in this new event. More details will be shared as we get closer!

🐴 The Countdown to a New KJRA Season is On! 🐴

We are already hard at work preparing for another exciting season with the Kentucky Junior Rodeo Association, and we can't wait to kick things off with all of our amazing rodeo families!

This season is bringing some exciting changes that we're looking forward to sharing with you including a brand-new website AND a new, easier way to register for rodeos! 🎉

We're working behind the scenes to make everything more organized, user-friendly, and easier than ever for our members and families.

👀 Stay tuned! We'll be sharing more details, important dates, and step-by-step information in the coming weeks.

🏆 KJRA Finals Update – Sunday Schedule 🏆

Families, please join us on Sunday morning as we recognize our graduating 8th grade members! ❤️💙

🎓 8th Grade Recognition: 8:30 AM
🐎 Rodeo will begin immediately following recognition

We hope everyone will come out and help us celebrate these contestants and their accomplishments before we kick off the final day of rodeo action!

🍔🌮 KJRA Finals Concession Stand 🌭🥤

Come hungry and support our contestants while you’re at the rodeo! We’ll have plenty of food, snacks, candy, and drinks available all weekend long during the KJRA Finals.

Menu favorites include:
• Hamburgers & Cheeseburgers
• Hotdogs
• Walking Tacos
• Smoked Bologna Sandwiches
• Nachos
• Candy, Ring Pops, Pickles, Chips & more!

Cold drinks and Gatorade will also be available to help beat the heat. ☀️

⭐ Most importantly ….ALL proceeds from the concession stand go directly back to support the KJRA contestants! Thank you for supporting our youth riders and helping make finals weekend a success. ❤️💙

The following people secured stalls for finals in Sturgis. If you do not need the number of stalls you originally requested please let us know immediately since there will be a waiting list. There are plenty of hookups, so if a hookup was requested it is available.

💥Don’t forget to request the number of bags of shaving you would like to purchase to be sure we have enough on site.
