Long week!
We went to the fair race at McLean county fair on July 9th and practice was really good. It felt amazing. Started 2nd in the heat race and couple of laps to go the engine started letting go. Feature - DNF
So we sent the engine back to the engine builder and found out that the bottom end was junk! He put a whole new bottom end and dyno and everything brand new in it to get it ready for HRW Raceway the following week!
Hrw raceway this past weekend.
Practice felt good just was blowing the tires off.
Heat race. Started p1 and finished 2nd, led all the laps but the final as I overdrove it and Ryan was able to get around me.
Feature started 2nd and couple of laps felt amazing but then it instantly turned down hill and tires was way to soft!! We finished 3rd! It was a learning curve and we are heading in the right direction just need some more knowledge and we will get there! Can’t thank my beautiful fiancé for everything she does! Couldn’t do it without her! Can’t thank my amazing engine builder! Without him and what he does for me I can’t thank him enough!
Our next race will be August 2nd maybe and most definitely August 3rd at the Hopkins county fair! See yall there!
