Chestnut Lane trains and shows American Saddlebreds, Morgans & Hackney ponies, offering top-level competition and a welcoming barn family atmosphere where riders grow, friendships form, and the love of horses comes first. Chestnut Lane is a premier American Saddlebred, Morgan, and Hackney Pony training and show barn dedicated to developing both horse and rider with excellence, integrity, and care.

Based in Monroe, NC since 2001, we specialize in training, showing, and sales of top-quality horses and ponies, as well as providing a supportive environment for riders of all levels to grow in and out of the show ring. From world-class competition horses to academy riders just beginning their journey, Chestnut Lane is built on hard work, sportsmanship, and a love for the horse. Fall may be on the calendar, but the heat isn’t going anywhere just yet! With many September days still reaching 90° or higher, staying hydrated during lessons remains especially important.

Please remember to bring a water bottle to every lesson. If you’re riding outside, leave it on the bench, and if you’re riding inside, place it on the rail so it’s easy to grab during breaks.

For especially hot days, consider adding an electrolyte or hydration mix to your water. Replacing electrolytes lost through sweat can help support hydration and may help with fatigue, headaches, and muscle cramps.

Even as we head into fall, listen to your body, take water breaks, and don’t wait until you’re thirsty to drink! Staying properly hydrated helps you stay safe, focused, and ready to give your best ride.

And just like that, another World’s Championship Horse Show is in the books. ❤️

As we reflect on an incredible week, we are reminded that moments like these are about so much more than ribbons and results. They are about the horses we love, the people beside us, the memories made, and the countless hours that brought us all to Louisville.

To our clients and families, thank you for your trust, dedication, and for allowing us to be part of your journey. To our trainers and grooms, thank you for the long days, late nights, and unwavering care you give our horses. And to our friends and supporters, thank you for every cheer, kind word, helping hand, and celebration along the way.

We are incredibly grateful for every person who played a part in making this week so special. The memories, friendships, laughter, and moments shared on and off the green shavings are what we will carry home with us.

Congratulations to WCC Heartland Janie “Janie” & Brynn Garrett on capturing the World’s Championship this morning in the WCC Junior Exhibitor Roadster Pony Under Saddle at the World’s Championship Horse Show.

Brynn and Janie stepped onto one of the sport’s greatest stages and delivered a performance worthy of the title — earning the tricolor and that unforgettable victory pass once again.

To become a World’s Champion of Champions is an extraordinary accomplishment. To earn that honor twice is truly remarkable.

We could not be prouder of Brynn, Janie, and all that this special team has accomplished together.

🎉 Isla Boucher & CH Our Belleman earned an incredible 3rd place finish in the WCC Walk Trot 8 & Under Equitation Class!

🎉 Indie Boucher & CH Our Belleman followed it up with a fantastic 4th place finish in the WCC Walk Trot 9 & 10 Year Old Equitation Class!
