At Metamora Martial Arts, our karate and tai chi students learn to be present, focused, and aware—skills that help both on and off the training floor.

This week, challenge yourself to put your phone down, headphones away, look up, and pay attention to what's happening around you.

Awareness is the first step toward safety.

Don’t forget, as part of Hanover 190/America 250 Celebration week, this week’s Dinner on the Bricks will feature music by Just Right Entertainment and a Tiny Art Show at Village Hall by local artist and educator Erin Foster! 🎨

We donated a family class pass and a punching pad to a breast cancer benefit event tonight. The classes were combined with a set of other fun summer activities including Escape in 60, AMC Theatres, Michael's Italian Restaurant, and more.

Thanks to our former student, Tony, for reaching out to let us know about the cause and asking us to help.

Multiple drawings will be held each night for gift certificates to local businesses after the entertainment. Enter at the table on the gazebo. No cost to enter, but you must be over 16 to enter and be present to win.

Advance Tickets & Other Miscellaneous
Advance ride tickets (10 for $20.00; regular $3.00 per ticket) will be available starting on Monday, June 15th at Heartland Bank (Metamora) and Parish Members Credit Union during regular business hours. Note – both offices will be closed on Friday, June 19.
Quantities are limited.
Sales end at 12:00 pm June 24th, or when sold out, whichever comes first.
Strips of 10 tickets for $27.00 will be available at the ticket booth only during Old Settlers Days.
All ticket booth sales (including wristbands) are cash only.
No pets (except service animals), bikes, or scooters in or around the Square during Old Settlers Days.
Restroom facilities are on Partridge across from the library and on Menard across from Eli’s.
