Congratulations to South Gibson Baseball alumni Levi Bryant on earning the Pinnacle Award at Jackson State Community College!

Highest GPA among all JUCO baseball players in the state!

We couldn’t be more proud to see a former Hornet continuing to raise the standard.

Once a Hornet, always a Hornet.

Congratulations to our very own Levi Bryant on earning the TCCAA Pinnacle Award! 🏆

Levi graduated with the highest GPA among all baseball student-athletes at the two-year college level in Tennessee. He also earned NJCAA All-Academic First Team honors and was named to the L. Quentin Lane Award for Academic Achievement Platinum Team. We’re incredibly proud of his excellence on and off the field and can’t wait to see him continue his journey! 👏🎓⚾

📸 A Huge Thank You to One of Our Own!

One of the things we’re most proud of in our program is seeing our players use their talents beyond the baseball field.

A big shoutout to Jacob Bateman, who spent the week capturing our Youth Camp through the lens of his own photography business, JBate08_Photography. While our campers were learning, competing, and making memories, he was behind the camera making sure those moments would last.

The pictures turned out incredible, and we’re grateful for the time, effort, and professionalism he brought to camp. We love seeing our players pursue excellence in everything they do.

Day 3 of Camp did not disappoint!
Little rain to soak the fields last night… can’t stop these campers! They were all in all day!
Players started with some throwing and defense work, then got into some hitting and competitive game play.

But the grand finale was sliding practice at the end! And no better way to do that than by a good ole fashioned slip n slide! These guys had so much fun!

Day 2 of Camp in the books!
Players started with some base running work, then got in some skill work (ground balls, double plays, fly balls, hitting), and finished with some more competitive baseball games to end the day!

Age 10-12 Camper of the Day - Carson McElroy

Day 3 is camp shirt day (campers will get shirts 1st thing). Can’t wait to see these guys show up and watch them compete and get better! Might even be a surprise tomorrow!
