🥈 RUNNER-UP FINISH FOR CANNONS 8U! ⚾️

Another great weekend of baseball for our Cannons 8U boys! They battled their way to a 3-1 record and came home with a 2nd-place finish after coming up short in the championship game against a really good Nukes team.

This was our boys’ first loss of the season, and while losing is never fun, it’s also part of the game. We hope they take this one, learn from it, and use it as motivation to keep getting better. This group continues to show us that they’re willing to compete, battle, and play for each other. We’re extremely proud of them.

A big congratulations to our newest Cannon, #1 Bennett Sherman, who walked away with the Tournament MVP plaque! 🏆 Bennett had a great weekend and has already made an impact on this team.

And these boys are making that MVP decision harder and harder every tournament. There are so many kids contributing in different ways, making big plays, having big at-bats, and doing whatever the team needs. That’s a pretty good problem to have!

3-1 on the weekend. Runner-up finish. Lessons learned. Back to work.

Columbia County Cannons rolled into Aiken this weekend for the Back to School Madness Tournament and brought the heat.
The 9U Cannons played their first tournament of the year, went 2-2 across 4 hard-fought games, and came home as Perfect Game Tournament Finalists.

This group is special. The fight, the chemistry, and the attitude are already there. Big things are coming in the 26/27 season.⚾️

Cannons 10u showed up and showed out on championship Sunday! They came out strong, played as a team, and braved the brutal heat. While they came up short in the championship, they battled until the end! Way to go boys!
Shout out to Barrett Disch for being named tournament MVPitcher! Great work, buddy! Go Cannons!
