Cleaning up your pivot will clean up swing plane a lot of times. He is an example of cause and effect at the top with where the lead shoulder ends up in relation to the center of your body. turtleson

One of my frustrations is hearing people tell players “keep your head down/still” and completely ruin their ability to move. Here is an example of Ben Hogan being an athlete and moving to create power and stability. His head moves as a result of his center of mass getting ahead of the arms/club in both directions to deliver at impact. He is one of the most graceful athletes in history. Mr. Hogan deserves all the attention he still gets as one of the hardest workers golf has ever seen.

Great drill for getting the arms and legs communicating and building rhythm/flow. Really hard for players that live in their head. You have to feel and let go of thoughts to do this drill effectively. turtleson

Cole Hanson in the studio this week. Getting ready for fall events to include Korn Ferry Tour q school. Cole has been swinging it awesome, so cleaned up some set up fundamentals and worked on optimizing launch. A couple years ago, Cole launched it too low and high launch shots were challenging. He has conquered that and now can hit both shots with ease. We changed his pivot to make a deeper turn with the upper body and strengthened the face position in the backswing. He is an incredible athlete and has taken it from there.
