All about our last CKNA race in numbers:
It’s now officially Danny’s 5th year in karting.
4th time at Charlotte.
3rd time in Junior.
2nd time in VLR.
1st win in Junior and at Charlotte!
The kid came to race, and he came ready. With a fiercely competitive field of 66 drivers from across the country, many of whom Danny has admired for years, it was clear this would be no easy feat. But from the moment he hit the track, it was evident that the VLR kart Reserve Motorsports put together for him was fast, and Danny wasted no time pushing it to its limits. It was one of the most aggressive fields he’s ever faced, and he met the challenge head-on. He proved that he has what it takes to contend with the best in Junior and surge to the front.
Qualy: 5th
Heat 1: 4th
Heat 2: 1st
Final: 1st 🥇
Massive shoutout to the amazing Timmy at Kinetic Karting for the killer engine, Miranda at VLR Karts for the kart, Dylan at Reserve Motorsports for the non-stop support all weekend, and Cale Zimmermann, Collin and Caleb for the top-tier coaching. 🙌 It truly takes a village, and we’re beyond grateful for ours at Spring Nats! 🙏

Finally a win in Charlotte! So worth the wait

Two weekends ago Danny entered the inaugural Apex Karting Championship race at NOLA in Junior LO206 class.

The kart NEWGEN Motorsport (Haase Kart) put together for us was fast all weekend, and Danny adopted to it quickly. Even though it was Danny's first major race in Junior class he showed solid pace all weekend against some heavy hitters.

He qualified 3rd only 0.047s from pole, and started both heats from P3. In Heat 1 we lost some ground and finished 5th, while in Heat 2 we maintained our position and finished 3rd. In the Pre-Final Danny had a great start and was able to work with another competitor (Holden Harder) to cut away from the pack. Danny lead most of the race but ended up 2nd after a drag race to the finish. After the prefinal we were moved to first place finish due to a penalty and was gridded on pole for the feature race. After getting the green flag in the feature he held to the lead for a short while and try to stay with the front group. Fell back to 4th and chased down the 3rd place kart after being more that 1.2 seconds behind. Danny moved into 3rd place on lap 12 and finished the race in that position. After a penalty we moved down to 4th.

We showed up to NOLA with the clear goal of learning and adopting to the new class and style of racing. We are beyond proud of Danny and his ability to stay relevant all weekend and have the pace to be upfront.

Thank you New Gen Motorsport for the opportunity to run with you once again this year.

On to the next challenge: Another Junior race at Daytona Kart Week 2025!

Our last rally race was not one we are particularly proud of, but even when we lose we try to make the most of every moment and enjoy the ride. Rallying is all about passion, teamwork, and learning — and this weekend reminded us just how much we love what we do.

The result wasn’t what we hoped for, but the energy from all of you, our amazing fans and supporters, kept us pushing through every stage. We’ll take the lessons, fix what needs fixing, and come back stronger, faster, and hungrier for the next one.

Thanks for being part of the journey — see you at the next rally! 🏁💪
