LSPR 2025: The white whale escapes once again

We finally had turbo car problems. Slowly worsening engine issues spoiled the party big time. No idea what’s up yet… Still ran plenty of stages and took a nice slow cruise through da U.P before we packed it in! Kinda fun working on lines and just throwing the car into turns with less power than the old E30 😆

Really bummed not to be able to battle it out with .pelizzari and , was looking forward to an epic L4WD duel all year but it wasn’t meant to be. Time to apply the plentiful lessons learned and go again next year 💪

Ready to run here at ! It was a huge last minute push to get here — we got plenty of chaos out of the way early. Broken axle on the super special all sorted (and we still got all 4 off the ground!)

Ended up with an amazing group that hit the road with us! Eli, Ben, Ethan, Joey, Landyn, Max, Cross, and Jason — can’t thank you all enough for all the hard work and camaraderie. It’s been a while and the car’s pretty different, so it’s time to start from square 1 and build from there. Let’s go have some fun — car 69 is GOING HOT!

Awesome first time out at ! Road America for 14 hours with two complete strangers (that immediately turned to friends) and a pretty much bone stock 02 Focus. We lost a few hours to a fuel leak repair which required dropping the tank — but made it back for the last hour! Thomas came out with a minor ni****ne addiction but otherwise drove home (!) in better shape than he arrived! That was complete chaos and WILDLY entertaining lol definitely need to do that again!
