Meet Adam Cornette!

Adam joined the NTN board in May 2023, bringing his skills in mapping, marketing, and public relations — and a lot of stoke — to support the trail network he deeply values. As the owner of Flagstaff Bicycle Revolution and a substitute art teacher, Adam balances creative work with a passion for trail running, mountain biking, and Nordic skate skiing. His favorite adventures are with his oldest child, Kensington, especially on Upper and Lower Zueg’s. Motivated by a desire to help preserve and expand Marquette’s world-class trails, Adam sees board service as a way to protect access and strengthen relationships with landowners for future generations.

Fun fact: Adam loves to cook. He talks to chickens. And he finds comfort in being lost in the woods.

We’re grateful for Adam’s enthusiasm and commitment to support NTN’s mission!

Meet Bill Nolan!

William Nolan has served on the NTN board since 2019 and currently holds the role of Treasurer, helping guide the organization’s financial stewardship. By day he’s an accountant at Tailored CPAs, and he’s also the Co-Race Director of the Marquette Trail 50! A dedicated trail runner and father, Bill spends much of his time on the trails running, biking, hiking, or snowshoeing — or chasing after his two kids. One of his favorite memories is hiking Powell Peak with his family during peak fall colors, and he’s especially fond of Porky Pine Pass. He sees land access as a key challenge for trail networks and is committed to ensuring the long-term sustainability of trail opportunities in the region.

Fun Fact: Bill raced in the inaugural Marquette Trail 50 in 2009. It was his first ultra marathon and he knew no one in the race, other than a friend who signed up with him. Today, many of those participants are now friends and in key volunteer roles, helping put on the race for the next generation.

We’re incredibly grateful for Bill’s commitment and loyal support of NTN!

A huge thank you to the nearly 40 volunteers who joined us for our Dirtball Dig Day last week! Your hard work and enthusiasm made a tremendous impact on the South Trails.

Together, we accomplished a lot in just a few hours:
- Completed a new enduro line off No Dab
- Started maintenance work on Above Grade
- Worked on a trail reroute on Raging River

In addition to thanking our amazing volunteers, we want to give an enormous THANK YOU to MQT for providing us delicious coffee to fuel our efforts.

These projects help keep our trails fun, sustainable, and in great condition for everyone who enjoys them. None of this work happens without volunteers willing to roll up their sleeves and get dirty, and we're incredibly grateful for your time and effort!
