The fishing has been fantastic near shore and out at Stannard Rock. September is here and in just a few weeks we will start seeing a lot more high wind days so if you want to get out for the fall bite out at Stannard Rock, now is the time! Last trip we landed a ton of giants, with the biggest weighing in at 39lbs, biggest of the year so far!!! Check out these HOGS, all released successfully!

Our guides do everything we can to protect our fishery. Its important to release the big breeders to ensure future access to this incredible fishery. Sometimes when your trolling, they just dont survive and there is nothing you can do about it. Those don't go to waste though as they are cleaned and bagged for the clients and their families to enjoy.

Big fish out at Stannard Rock sometimes have a hard time overcoming the added buoyancy from their swim bladder when they are pulled out of depths over 100'. The Seaquilizer release clip releases at a set depth. We use this clip on the downrigger to get these big fish back down to where they can regulate their buoyancy and properly recover so they can continue living/spawning and contributing to the health of the fishery.

I had the pleasure of taking a group of incredible women out fishing and these gals are some hard-core anglers. I had a blast taking them out to Stannard Rock to jig up some giants on a perfectly calm day. Brenda Maier is also a guide for True North Guiding And Outfitters and I am personally looking forward to booking a trip with her and her husband in Wisconsin. Fishing out at Stannard Rock the last couple days has been excellent! Today, everyone in the boat landed at least one over 20lbs, we caught around 50 fish, at least 8 over 20lbs with the biggest two being 28 and 29lbs!

The schedule is filling up fast but we still have some availability in August and September. Get it while its hot!
