Been a little quiet on here the past few days… let’s just say Uranus in my 7th House is doing its THANGGGGG 🤣

It’s easy as women and business owners to get caught up in our heads and in our own lives & forget the amazing work we’re doing for others.
To forget all the times we showed up when we were exhausted, kids were moody, traumas were surfacing, finances were shaky, relationships were struggling, and life was life-ing.

So congrats to every woman building something, taking time for herself, and showing up no matter what!!!
It’s not easy & I see you. ❤️‍🔥

And to my amazing, badass, life-changing clients, thank you for trusting me with your brand (your professional baby, if you will!)
I appreciate every single one of you for allowing me to do my dream job 😭🥰

Sometimes a rebrand isn’t about hating your logo or needing a new website. Mine wasn’t!

I rebranded because my business had quickly evolved beyond the brand I had to the point where it was no longer reflecting my skill and the direction I wanted to grow in.

I knew in order to reach my ideal clients, my brand needed a little makeover!
But most importantly, I could just feel it. And we tend to push down what we feel as women in order to be “logical” or “smart” but our instincts never steer us wrong!!🤩

Lately, I’ve been really hyper aware of the things I’m saying online, worrying that they’ll be taken the wrong way, that I’ll be judged or that people will form a negative opinion about me that I have no say in.

And it made me not want to show up fully online, to just keep my head down and work.
But that’s not me, I’ve always been opinionated and outspoken, not really caring who thinks what about me.

So to my ladies with big ideas, visions, and opinions, who’ve felt they need to shrink to never offend anyone or change their voice to be more professional…
EVERYONE experiences those moments.

We all want to be liked, included, accepted, supported.
But I’m remembering that it all means nothing if it’s not actually ME that’s being liked, included, accepted, and supported.
So we’re building back up little by little!

ANYHOO, I’m sick af & sleep deprived so feel free to ignore my word vomit 🤮

Working on Trina’s rebrand was the BEST experience. Getting to infuse her grounded and validating personality into a “frolicking through a wildflower field during golden hour” vibe perfectly sums up the essence of Trina’s brand.

One thing I’m realizing about my work is that I LOVE designing for feminine brands.
Because I get to bring my own feminine lens to brands that are WILDLY different.

A LOT of people assume that a feminine designer or feminine brands must ONLY be “soft” or “elegant” with shades of pink and calligraphy fonts.
But femininity can be all that AND rebellious, protective, grounded, free, powerful, ANYTHING.

Like all these brands I’ve created have completely different voices, personalities, and color palettes.
They range from bold and vibrant to grounded to luxury.

And yet, they’re all feminine, just different expressions.
Feminine brands should not be boxed into script fonts and dainty details.
Because there’s no ONE way to be a woman.

ANYHOO, rant over. I’m OBSESSED with these mockups.
The lace, the texture, the colors, ahhh🤩

AHHHHH, this palette is giving “warm fall day, coffee in hand, walking my dog on a trail” vibes!! ☕️🍂

The goal with Jen’s colors was to create something that feels as down-to-earth as she is.
Her brand literally feels like talking about training on a morning walk and then going on a fun adventure with your dog!! 🤩

To capture that energy, the green and orange bring in that outdoorsy grit and expertise while the pink & yellow add some playfulness and warmth.
The deep cherry was our favorite addition, representing the depth Jen brings not just in her training but her passion for working with humans as well.

BUT, Jen’s colors aren’t the only thing we’re working on!
Stay tuned, because we’ve got something VERY exciting in the works with details coming soon 😉

Not every designer is the right designer for your brand.
The same way not every photographer’s style fits your vibe, or not every stylist gets your bangs right.

It doesn’t mean they’re not good, it just means it’s not a fit!
LIKE if your dream brand is minimal, neutral, and corporate, I’m PROBABLY not your gal.
And that’s okay!!

The best designer for your brand isn’t your friend’s nephew who you’ve known forever or even the one who created your first site.
It’s the one who understands your brand’s direction & gets the vision enough to know the difference between a good logo and the right one. ✨
